Petes P.O.V the year is 2046
My grandkids love playing through my old authentic things and I love watching them as they held up a bass or record and ask all kinds of questions. Its nice to tell stories of what I used to do, the life I used to have. Sometimes the memories are hard to talk about, like my best friend who passed away just five years ago. But most are exciting and fun, full of nostalgia.

"Hey grandpa look pictures." Said my grandson, holding up an old, dusty box filled with crinkled photographs.

"These are so cool." The younger one said. She held up a few, looking at the frayed, torn photos of me and the band. She held up ones of Bronx when he was little, really little. She also held up one of just me and a girl, laughing and wrapped in each other's arms, like we had just been sleeping and abruptly woken up.

"Who is this?" My youngest granddaughter asked. For a second I couldn't recall the girl in pictures name, but those eyes and that smile are things I will never forget.

"Oh that was a friend of mine, along time ago. Her and I used to do everything together." Taking the picture from her I couldn't help but be bombarded with memories.

"Pete ahh put me down!" Y/N shrieked. Laughing and swatting at his arms as he swung her around and threw her on to the bed. With a huge grin on his face he leaned down as if he was about to kiss her, only to be caught off guard by a pillow to his face.

"Nice try Wentz. Not getting it that easy." She said giggling.

"Hey guys, sorry to ruin the moment but we kind of need him for set rehearsals!" Patrick called from the other end of the bus. The guys were on tour and Pete knew the drill, sighing he stood up and together they both waked out of the small room Pete claimed in the back. Shoving each other playfully and making faces.

"Okay okay." He called when he saw Patrick's annoyed expression, they were going to be late again.

Outside Pete couldn't wipe the smile off his face, Patrick kept looking over at his blissful expression. He rolled his eyes before asking.

"What's her name anyway?"

"Y/N. And I know what you are going to say but hear me out 'Trick. She's different." Pete replied.

"Oh yeah sure the last two were also different weren't they?" Patrick said a little two colder than he meant. Petes expression dropped, turning into irritation.

"Come on man I'm not trying to be mean. But you do tend to throw yourself into things without thinking about the consequences. You let your heart take control all the time and I just don't want you to get hurt again." Patrick confessed.

"I won't get hurt, not this time. Besides were just fooling around right now, nothing to serious. Don't worry dude, I know what I'm doing." Pete said right as they walked into practice.

That night Pete invited Y/N to there show, she was allowed to stand on the side of the stage with all the other friends. Her eyes were bright and filled with excitement while watching them play. She sang along with the chorus, hands in the air and swaying with the echos of the music. Pete couldn't stop himself from looking at her every few minutes, couldn't take his eyes off of her. They were both sweaty and her makeup was running and hair was crazy, be that night he couldn't think of anything more radiant than they way she smiled at him. Inbetween a song he rushed over to her and pulled her into him, kissing her roughly before dashing back out onto the stage.

Afterwards Pete felt like he was on top of the world, like he could do anything. He was eccentric and alive and couldn't keep his Hands to himself. Taking Y/N to the club they band was invited to after the show. They danced and drank and made out in corners. The night was perfect and neither of them wanted it to end. The smokey, loud, dance floor seemed to revolve around them, all Pete saw in the sea of body's and glitter, was her.
