I sprint down the network of underground tunnels faster than I probably ever have, my breath hitching in my throat as I try to keep my pace. I take a left, trying to work my way toward the ladder that leads out of this retched place. I can feel adrenaline rushing through my veins as I try to escape that, that beast, or whatever the hell that thing is. I turn once more and see the ladder, maybe one hundred yards off, I take a deep breath and close my eyes for a moment, gathering just a bit more energy as I dart down the hall, sprinting towards this so called finish line, my goal closing in at fifty-yards before the entire world around me just, stops.

The next thing I know the world begins to pixelate before my very eyes, before everything in a very sudden manner, turns dark as a raven's feathers.
