Chapter 4

Joeys P.O.V

I grabbed the bat next to the door. I grabbed it in self defence to make sure i didnt watch myself into the movie. I had it in batting position ready to swing. When i went to swing, i heard a familiar voice yell at me. Oh-my-god. I ALMOST HIT SHANE!!!

Shane JOEY!!!! WATCH THE BAT!!!!

Once i heard Shane's voice, i tried as hard as i could to miss him. I got lucky that i did.

Joey: Oh shane. Im sorry. I was watching a scary movie for the frist time and in the movie, when tjey called, u called. When they came to the door to murder, u came to the door. Its......its.........its just complicated

Complicated?!? Joey what do you mean by complicated. First off, what would happen if he asks? What would i say?

Shane: Joey.........What are you doing watching scary movies anyway? You know you'd get scared esally.

Joey: i know Shane. I just wanted to challenge myself. im always scared. I was trying.

Shane: Well your not doing a very good job at it.

Joey: i know.

Shane: So can i come in?

Joey: Uhhhhh..............sure.

I said it uncertain of my choice. He walked in and i closed the door after him. He walks in my living room and i walk in behind him.

Shane: The ring?

Joey: Yea. Wait........how did you know?

Shane: Ive watched this movie before. No wonder you got scared. I mean, its not scary for me but to alot of other people, yea.

Joey: Oh. So what do you want to talk about?

Shane: The kiss.

Shanes P.O.V

Once the words "scary movie" came out of his mouth, i was done. Did he really just say he watched a scary movie?

Shane: Joey.........What are you doing watching scary movies anyway? You know you'd get scared esally.

Joey: i know Shane. I just wanted to challenge myself. im always getting scared of everything. I......i was trying.

Shane: Well your not doing a good job at it.

Joey: i know.

Shane: So can i come in?

Joey: Uhhhhh..............sure.

He froze in his words. Why?

So i walk in his house and he closes the door behind me. I walked in his living room and saw that he was watching The Ring. I wasnt sure if i was right so i asked

Shane: The ring?

Joey: Yea. Wait........how did you know?

Shane: Ive watched this movie before.

This is the movie that scared him half to death? Oh, now i see how he got so scared. When i watched this with Lisa she got scared almost as much as he did. But what happened to Joey is WAYY more scarier. Even i would of got scared.

Shane: No wonder you got scared. I mean, its not scary for me but to alot of other people, yea.

Joey: Oh. So what do you want to talk about?

Shane: The kiss.

Joey: Oh yea, that. Listen Shane, im sorry. I promise i will never do that aga-

I cut him off.

Shane: No, dont not do it again. Listen Joey. I love you. That is all i ever wanted. To kiss you.

I leaned in to kiss him and he leaned in with me. Our lips almost met when his tv started to beep. It kind of sounded like my alarm clock.........Wait a minute........dont tell me..................

*Shane wakes up*

I look at my phone and its the day after the kiss with Joey on Dare the Dawson. Uggghhh. So none of that actually happened? Uggghhh i should of known. I get up and walk to the kitchen to see Lisa just rushing out the house. She said she'd be back around 8 p.m. tonight. So i decide to grab my phone and text joey.

Shane- Hey Joey

Joey wrote about five minutes later

Joey- Hey Shane, whts up

Shane- Nun. Hey, can u come ova here latr

Joey- Sure for wht?

I had to thnk about it.

Shane- To hang out nd mabe make a shoey tag video?

Joey- Sounds great. See u at wht time?

Shane- Anytime you want.

Oh god. I sound desprate.

Joey- Ok see u, whenever.

Shane- Ok see u thn

Joey- k bye.

Shane- bye.
