"When are you coming home? I miss you lots!" Kyren whines. I chuckle, though it sounds like a droid laughing, which sounds weird.
"I should be coming home soon. I found the planet my quarry is on," I say. Her precious face lights up like a light.
"Really?! Yay!" She squeals and jumps up and down. Valkin laughes.
"Alright, little one. Say goodnight. It's time for bed," he says, ruffling her hair.
"Aaw! Do I have to? I wanna stay up and talk with sissy!!!" She whines playfully. "Goodnight, Rin-Rin. I love you."
"Goodnight, babe. Love you, too. Sweet dreams," I reply waving at her and watch the hologram fade away.
I sigh. I miss that kid so much. "Boop boop wooo Beep," S4 says.
"Ok. Thanks. Tell me when we land, bud," I tell the droid.
"Beep beep beep," he replies and wheels out of my room.
I sigh and lay down on my bed. I close my eyes and let my mind wander. How much has Luke changed? Will Kyren be ok? Will people be after her for knowing me? Or the fact she's like me? I want to keep her safe from everything in the universe. I guess you could say she's all the family I have. Both Luke and Leia had left me. Both claiming they wanted me safe. I will not abandon her the way I was. I won't. I can't.
"Beep beep boop wooo wee," S4 robotic beeps come through the intercom, breaking me from my thoughts. The ship shutters as it lands.
"Thanks, S4. I'll be out there in a minute," I say, into the intercom. He beeps a "your welcome."
I sit up and strap my sabers to my sides. I grab my daggers and put them in my boot. I then grab my capable staff and hook it to the small of my back. Walking out of my room, I head to the landing ramp.
"S4, I need you to stay with the ship."
"Woooooo oooooo," he says sadly.
"I know it's boring, but I need you here just in case." And with that I walk off.
-Luke's Pov-
*boom! Didn't expect that did ya? :-)*
I sense a disturbance in the Force. I close my eyes and concentrate on who it is.
"There's no need for that, Luke," I robotic female voice says.
I turn around to see a bounty hunter clad on black. Lightsabers on both sides of her waiste, daggers in her in her boot. A familiar symbol on her helmet. The moment I set my eyes on that symbol, I know who it is.
"Katrin. Take that helmet off," I say, calmly.
-Katrin's POV-
I sigh and take off my helmet. My white hair falls in my face. I open my baby Safire eyes and stare straight into Luke's.
"Hello, Luke. I found you," I say.
"So you did. Did you find the map?" He asks. My brows furrow my brows and tilt my head in confusion.
"Map? What map?" I ask. He looks startled.
"If you didn't find the map... how'd you find me?" He asks, cautiously.
"I used the Force." Is my only reply.
"Wow. You've gotten strong with it. Well done," he compliments.
I glare at him. My anger flaring slightly. "No thanks to you. 'Mr. I-need-to-send-you-away-to-protect-you'," I mock.
"I did. I wanted to keep you safe. You're like a daughter to me. Which is why I sent you to Leia-"
"Who then sent me away 'to protect me'. Well, now I have something I want to protect. I won't do what you both did to me," I growl.
"Anger is the path to the Dark Side," he warns.
"And I am neither Light nor Dark. Look, I didn't come to catch up. I'm here because Leia needs you," I say.
