Cas broke the kiss first, surprising Dean. Neither of them would ever dare say it out loud, but they both felt like they were on Cloud Nine as they stared into the other's eyes, deep forest green ones piercing the myriad and neptune blue ones staring back. They'd never admit it to themselves or each other, but they both had enjoyed that much more than either thought possible. When they had let go of eachother, Cas whipped around and glared at Crowley. "Are you happy now, you traitorous, conniving son of a bitch?" he growled in a deep, husky voice through gritted teeth, hatred burning in every word. Dean was in shock at just how much of an effect Cas's voice had on the air in the room. Even Crowley looked shocked when he heard the way he sounded. "Yes..... Well. Fine. I'll help you two morons get rid of the spell my idiot mother put on this feisty, blue-eyed devil of yours." he said, addressing Dean and giving Cas a seemingly offhand stare, but inside Crowley's brain the gears were churning faster than the line of complainers in Hell moved. Was there something hidden in that look they'd just given each other? Did they realize just how in love they were? While Crowley was fighting to keep from screaming like a four-year-old on the outside, he was screaming so unbelievably loud on the inside that he was surprised that Squirrel and Wings couldn't hear him. "Okay... What do we need to summon your annoying bitch of a mother?" Dean shot back, narrowing his eyes slightly at Crowley. Crowley smiled, thinking for a moment. "We don't need anything. I'll just call her here whenever you two dolts are ready." Cas got a dangerously concentrated look on his face, his eyes darkening until they were so black it was like looking into an extremely navy blue pond that was so deep you couldn't see the bottom. Dean physically shivered, but Cas was too busy staring down Crowley to notice . "If you even think about lying to us, I will personally rip you into shreds so tiny that no one'll ever be able to put the pieces back together." Cas said very quietly, the dangerous look still in his deep blue eyes. Crowley's eyes widened slightly, fear sprouting in them. "Now, now. No need to get hasty Cas. We can work this out." Cas snorted, then turned to Dean. "Are you ready?" Dean nodded his head, speechless for once. He never thought the Angel side of Cas would show up again, and certainly not like this. Cas turned back to Crowley and said "We're ready." Crowley sighed and muttered something under his breath that suspiciously sounded like "Oh bollocks. What the bloody hell am I getting myself into!" and called out "Mother! Mother, come here!" A moment later Rowena appeared in a small cloud of smoke, saying "Fergus! You finally called for dear old mummy! Never thought I'd see the day!" Crowley gritted his teeth and said "Mother, I thought I told you to call me CROWLEY. The King Of Hell doesn't have a name like....."Fergus." Crowley said in disgust. "I'll call you what I bloody want, you ungrateful child! I'm your mother! I knew I should've sold you for those three pigs, you disgrace of a son!" She yelled at him, her Scottish accent making the words sound slightly odd. Then seeing Cas and Dean standing over by the wall, she stood up straight and walked toward them a few paces. "Why hello you two! I figured I'd have to deal with the pair of you sooner or later, didn't expect it to be so soon though." She rambled, not realizing that she could move no further than the chains on her wrists that had appeared let her. When she noticed her lack of movement, she glanced down and saw that there were ancient runes of binding carved into the hard gray metal, meaning she couldn't go anywhere until whoever had put them on decided she could. Crowley smirked behind her as she glared at Cas and Dean in turn, yelling in outrage "What's the meaning of this?! I thought I was among friends here! Who had the audacity to do this to a witch as great and powerful as me?!" Crowley smiled and waved at her, earning a shocked look from his mother as she looked at her son in disbelief. "Why would you even think of doing this to me, your own mother?" Crowley grinned his signature evil grin and said "Because you are the worst mother in the history of mothers!" To Cas and Dean he said "She was a horrible mother. Did I tell you the time that she almost traded me for three pigs? Three! I was an attractive child, I could juggle. I was worth five pigs at least. Don't even get me started on the name, Fergus. Sounds like a venereal disease, and not the fun kind." Rowena had the fakest, most hurt look on her face. "How....how could you, Fergus?! I raised you and fed you and clothed you.... I won't deny I made some mistakes, but can't you forgive me? Please?" At this, Crowley burst out laughing. He stayed this way for several minutes, Rowena rolling her eyes at the display. When he was done wiping tears of laughter from his eyes, he said "That's the best joke I've heard in years! Of course I won't forgive you, I'm the BLOODY KING OF HELL! I can't be getting soft now!" Crowley nodded at Dean. "Okay, you two can have her now that I'm done reveling in the surprise at my betrayal." he said, walking over to the chair and sitting down heavily. "Alright you ginger bitch. Why have you been giving Cas nightmares about Hell Hounds?! And don't give me any of that "I didn't do anything." bullshit. We know it was you." Rowena sighed, then said "I've been trying to help him remember. I knew I should've added more powdered chicken's feet into that spell!" Cas stopped for a moment. "Help me remember? Remember what?" Rowena made a sad noise. "My point exactly. I'm trying to help you remember what it was like to be an Angel!" Cas stepped back in shock. He looked at Dean, then said "Is that what you were gonna tell me about earlier?" Dean nodded. Cas's head spun. Him, an Angel Of the Lord? He couldn't believe it. He put his hands over his face and closed his eyes, taking deep breaths and counting to ten. Then he straightened up and walked over to Rowena. "Tell me what I need to do." Rowena smiled a cold, calculating smile, then said "And so it begins."
