A dream is just a dream, right? Nothing more nothing less. Just your subconscious being as annoying as ever. Well that's what I'm thinking now as I lay in my bed awake, startled by what my dream world created. Startled but excited? Hopeful maybe? Well an ordinary girl like me doesn't have much to hope for. Or does she? These are the questions that race through my mind while I replay one of the most vivid and wild dreams of my life. But let me just introduce my self before I continue.
*~*
My name is Taylor Davidson. I am a 16 year old girl or woman my mom calls me but that's another story. Anyway puberty sucks especially for a girl going through high school full of jocks, cheerleaders, and a whole new world of drama. No not like that "new world" little mermaid junk. Yes that's right the shy ones hear all of that drama so just learn to shut your trap ladies. So I'm the quiet one but ask my little group of friends, call me shy, and they will laugh, and look at you like your a maniac. I'm pretty outgoing once you get to know me haha. Anyways after a little glimpse of my social status if you will let's get back to the story.
My dream. Or vision? Actually, no I don't believe in that stuff. Anyway I bet you are wondering what it was that I saw. But I'll leave that for later just to keep you wondering.

I jolt awake to the sound of my alarm clock." 6:30 already!!!!!" I sigh as I jump out of bed and go through the morning routine." What to wear, what to wear!!!!" No I'm not a popular girl who worries about her appearance. I smile as I find my favorite pair of skinny jeans and a nice floral shirt to throw on. I quickly put my contacts in, run downstairs get my books, grab some pop tarts and run out the door to catch my bus. When the bus finally shows I see my one of my best friends, Alicia, or Cia as I call her, has a spot saved for me.
"What's up Cia? You're not late this morning?"
"Very funny Taylor but we both know who's always late."
"Haha alright I give." I hand her a pop tart like usual and we eat in silence all the way to school. As you can probably tell we both aren't morning people.
As I get off the bus I wave to Cia promising I'll meet her fifth period for lunch as usual.
My mind races as I walk into my first class. Social studies. Ugh. Who thought of this fantastic idea of reviewing the same past each and every year! Well it's not that bad considering Aaron sits next to me. Well I doubt he notices me anyway.
Incase captain obvious forgot to tell you I have a major crush on this kid!! But don't tell anyone!
You see Aaron and I used to be close friends for a long while. We go way back. We were such great friends until the day his dad died. After that his grief basically overwhelmed his life, and now he doesn't talk to anyone. Besides his friend Max that is. I tried all I could to comfort him but nothing worked. He and his family were always a mysterious bunch but that didn't matter to me. I always loved him and I always will.
That's right. I've never had a boyfriend. But hey! Whose to judge! One day I'll get him to notice me!
Anyway back to class.
I take my seat an unpack. I glance over at Aaron who is doodling who knows what in his notebook. I watch how his black hair falls perfectly over his ice blue eyes...and the frustration they reveal as he tries to draw what he wants to see.
Now I sound like a creeper.
Anyways social studies goes by and I move from class to class until fifth period where I meet Cia and my two other close friends, Skylar and Jackie, by Skylar's car so we can decide what we want for lunch. After much debate we settle for Chino's which is a little café just a five minutes walk from our school.
