Emily's Pov
I was home thinking about how things would turn out for us. I wasn't very pretty and I was merely as boring as everyone says. I looked at the clock and layed back on my bed, I wondered what I could do but at that moment I was lost in my thoughts. I got up and walked downstairs, as I reached the living room I heard the doorbell ring.
Who can that be?
I walked to the door and opened it cautiously. I peeped through the tiny little opening to see who it was, then the door flew open and I fell back onto my bum. Once I caught my focus it was Lily, she's my best friend, the one who makes me laugh when I'm down. I wondered why she came though... Unless it's important.
"Would you get off your small bum and come and hug me" She said with her arms wide open.
I got up and hugged her and then I felt her slip something in my shorts pocket. I looked at her with my eyebrow raised, I took whatever it was out of my pocket and looked at it.
"What is it?" I asked.
I knew what it was but, I didn't know what it had to do with me. She would always say it was from someone and my expectations would be Cody. Sadly it never was so everytime this would occur I didn't get my hopes up.
"Well if you open it you would see."
I opened it slowly, I was afraid that it would be all like the others. I tried to keep a smile on my face but at that moment in time it really didn't bother me so I just went for it. As I read it, it made me smile ear to ear. I don't get it though...Why would he wanna see me? Why would he just randomly send this to me? What is he trying to do?
I sat down and thought about. I wasn't sure if I could even go that far with someone like Cody. I sighed and looked at Lily who was busy texting her thumbs away. I kept reading the note but i wasn't sure if he truly felt that way and even about me.
Cody is the most popular boy in school whose always surrounded be girls. Him and his crew is all the same and I mean girls, parties, booze, all of the above. He's also the richest kid in school so I know I wouldn't have a chance. My father works for his enterprise so we're living on the bridge of poor and rich.
"Lily I'll see you tomorrow alright?"
She nodded her head and gave me a reassuring hug before she left. Now I need the strength to see what tomorrow would hold.

Cody's Pov
"Hey Carter, you think you could bring me more whiskey?" He chuckled.
I was wobbling all over the place having an awesome ass time. It was a long overdue party that I had planned. There was girls everywhere short, tall, skinny, thick. I couldn't handle all of it so I went to sit in a corner. I passed out after that.
I woke up to find myself in my bed, I looked at my phone and saw it was 10 minutes after 9.
"Shit I'm late for school."
I bounced out of my bed and hurried to get my clothes on. I grabbed my things ran downstairs and jumped in my car. I drove off and headed to school. As I arrived I parked my car and ran through the doors of the school. The halls were empty so I knew everyone was in class. As I turned the corner I bumbed into a girl I never knew before, her books fell to the ground so I decied to help her. We both reached for the same book and our hands touched.
"I'm sorry I bumped into you." I apologized.
"It's Okay" She said calmly.
As I got some of her books together I handed them to her and that's when we made eye-contact. I flustered inside and tried to hide it, we stood there in silence and that's when everything went still.
