After I went to my locker, I slammed the door shut and turned around really fast- running right into someone. Of course. Great job self!
My books went everywhere, my iPod and laptop fell from my bag, it was a total disaster.
"UGH! Like I need any more crap to deal with!" I yelled. Everyone was looking at me, my stuff was all over the floor, my day was ruined.
"Look, I'm sorry! I didn't see you there and YOU kind of ran into ME." A person said. I hadn't even realized he was there. I didn't respond to him. I was too busy trying to get my stuff together so that I could get as far away from these people as possible. I didn't look up, but I could feel everyone's eyes staring at me.
"Um.....hello? Did you hear me? Did I do something to offend you?" He said.
"No! You didn't! Jeez, can't I just pick up my stuff before I'm forced to socialize?" I said as I finally stood up. I looked at the person who ruined my day. It was just some guy, I'd never seen him before in my life. Even though it may seem like I never pay attention to things, one thing I do pay attention to is the faces in my school-and this was a new one.
"Look, I'm sorry," I said. "I'm just not really having a good day and I did not need that total moment of humiliation."
"Yeah neither did I," he said. "It's not easy having your first impression on your new school being a total disaster." He started rummaging through his bag.
"Do you know where Mr. Bronze's class is?" He said showing me a schedule. "It says here that I have him first period-I think."
"Yeah I have that first class too, follow me." I wasn't excited to be forced into social interactions, But hey, what else did I have to do?
