"Who does he think he is?" Emmie thinks to herself as she watches him. "How disrespectful of him... Sitting there doodling in his notebook... With his stupid cute hair and cute face." She puffs out her cheeks in slight frustration and looks away, her "hatred" for him growing stronger. Hongbin was sitting on a bench on campus about fifteen feet away, doodling in his notebook and not noticing the girl's heated glare. His soft brown hair falls in his face slightly, causing him to look up from his notebook. Hongbin grabs his light blue bookbag and shuffles through it, grinning when he finds what he's looking for. He pulls his hand out to reveal what he was holding.
...A small star shaped hair clip.
Emmie's eyes widen when she realizes what it is. Hongbin's hand reaches up to his bangs, causing Emmie extreme distress. "Don't you dare." She whispers. He opens the clip and pushes his bangs out of the way, and Emmie wheezes quietly. "dONT YOU DARE--"
He did it.
Lee Hongbin put a pink star shaped hair clip in his hair.
"WHY ARE YOU SO DISRESPECTFUL?!" Emmie shouts mentally. Hongbin looks over at her, eyes wide. "I-I'm sorry?" Emmie slowly turns her head to look at him, her face progressively reddening. "....Did I say that out loud?" Hongbin nods slowly. "Yes, you did." He chuckles nervously. Emmie swears under her breath. "I'm sorry if I did something to offend you--" Hongbin starts. Emmie looks up and shakes her head. "N-No no, you're fine! I'm just being stupid," She laughs softly. Hongbin tilts his head, grinning shyly. "Ah, I see." He begins gathering his stuff, adjusting his pale lavender sweater. "Shoot... He's leaving." Emmie thinks sadly. She looks down and sighs. Suddenly, she feels a warmth beside her and the smell of lavender and clean laundry fills her senses. "Why the sigh?" She looks up to see Hongbin sitting on the bench beside her, grinning widely and showing his dimples. Emmie blushes and grins nervously. "Ah, I guess I thought that I scared you off." Hongbin blushes slightly, but his grin widens. "Well, cheer up! I'm still here aren't I?" He opens his bookbag and rummages around again. When he looks back up, he makes eye contact with Emmie and smiles. "I forgot that I had this." Hongbin holds up a dainty flower crown made with small pink, orange, and white flowers. A blush dusts his cheeks as he leans in, placing the flower crown on top of Emmie's head and tucking a lock of her hair behind her ear. "I've seen you around campus quite often," He pauses to clear his throat, chuckling softly. "I think you're absolutely adorable." Hongbin looks up to see Emmie's cheeks flush. "I was wondering if maybe... Maybe you'd like to go get some tea with me tomorrow? O-Or any day that works for you, I know you could be busy and all--" Emmie cuts him off by giggling. He looks at her, eyes wide. "I-I mean, if you don't want to I totally understand." Emmie takes his hand in hers and smiles shyly. "I'd love to."It was those three words that made his face light up in a way that she would never forget.
