noun: act of hurting someone in return for a wrong suffered at their hands.

A scarred heart inside but a face you can't resist.
She's a sly, little liar,
But she'll set your heart afire.
She will disarm you first,
Then she will quench her vengeful thirst.
All your walls, she will bring down,
Until you're laying bare on the ground.
You won't be able to make a sound,
Because she's got you spellbound.
She will hurt you like you hurt her,
She will make your life a blur.
She will find solace in your miseries,
She will remind you of all your sad histories.
Like epiphany, once you realise who she really is,
You'll be biting your tongue, dear Alexis.
She will laugh at your foolishness,
While you're crying in distress.
And when she finally leaves you to die,
Then begins her time to fly.
