There has been a lot of questions that are unanswered or remained a mystery for many. I mean why would people want to know some of my secrets when in fact, I'm also human like them and I don't give a damn on their privacies?

Well I guess this is what they call the "consequences of dreaming to be a worldwide singer". A superstar where your life is an entertainment for many.

But if I were to categorise this secret of mine, I would definitely go for rom-com. A romantic comedy that has a hidden spoof for aches. That best explains everything.

"Niall Horan why are you single?"

"Aren't you dating someone else?"

Sigh. Same old question. It challenges my temper though. Others see that question as some sort of a joke, others just to fulfill themselves. And revealing the story behind it is going to be somewhat not deserving. All of them don't deserve it. It's like a treasure box that is full of gold that's been locked and hidden. It was there because no one deserves to have that treasure. And so this secret.

flashback

It was a week before our school year ends and our school have this tradition where they collaborate with another all girls school. They were afraid that some of the boys would really turn into, you know, and this was the solution that they found to stop their worries.

Us, the boys, are the ones who'll go to the Merriam Carolina Academy because they said that we should observe the proper manners of a gentleman. Whatever. Unfortunately, I came in to the class which I really hate, science. Although being in that class wasn't unfortunate at all because there I met the girl whom I could never forget.

Her name is Niña Serene Dalton. No one calls her Niña, no one calls her Serene either since she doesn't have any friends in her class, even at her school. She was invisible, at least that's what I have observed. It made me wonder, why?

If you'll look at her, she's not even a nerd, or an emo. She's actually beautiful! A girl with long eye lashes, gray eyes, long brown wavy hair, red lips, and pale skin. Is it her skin that's why the girls isolated her?

It's not only me who has noticed her being beautiful, my friends as well. But after a day of staying, they started to ignore her. For me, she deserves such attention with that particular beauty and talent she has. And thank God I was given the chance. The both of us became partners for the project. 

And there I knew who she really was.

She was this type of girl who laughs a lot but behind those are lots of hidden secrets. Every time I look at her straight in the eyes, she refuses. She even told me she's afraid of falling in love. Especially when she knows at the end, she's gonna be hurt. But after we have known each other, I helped her overcome that fear.

When our class together was about to end, I was really afraid. I don't really know if we'll meet again. I haven't went to their house, or even ask her out.

Which gave me an idea.

That same day, I asked her out for Nandos at Summer. I told her the time, and place where we'll meet and gladly, she agreed.

When we were at Nando's eating, something popped into my mind and I asked her, "Are you free later? It's summer aye, mind going to the carnival with me?"

At first, her eyes gleamed with happiness but after a second she frowned and went out of the shop without saying a word to me.

I remembered that day when I tried to follow Serene on her way home. Right when she caught me, she immediately yelled at me and told me to never do it again. I swear I almost cried when that happened. It was my first time to see her blow up and get angry.
