Annabel's pov.
Hi my name is Annabel. I have long silky brown hair with bright green eyes. My parents and my pack treat me like crap. I always ask my parents why they hate me but they just beat me until I can't say anything. Same with everyone in the pack.
Right know everyone one is getting ready for when the Alpha King is coming this afternoon except for me. I have to do everyone's laundry in the pack house and clean the rooms. The worst part is that I have to have everything done before 1:00 and be at the clearing where we are going to be to meet the Alpha King.
Right know I'm making breakfast for everyone in the pack. The pack has 253 people in it. I decided to make eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, pancakes, French toast, and fruit bowls. I usually wake up at 5 and get everything done by seven just like today. Now I'm going to everyone's room and collecting their dirty clothes. I go down to the basement where the washing and drying machine is and put one load in the washer machine. While I wait for it to get done I start on the rooms and then when it beeps I put the wet clothes in the dryer and when there done I fold them. I do that over and over again.
When I finally look at the clock I notice it is 1:02. Oh crap! I hurry up to my room and trade my rags for a teal blue dress and a pair of black flats. I run out to the clearing and when I finally get there I notice that the Alpha King hasn't showed up yet. I try to blend in but my Alpha sees me. "Come over here now Annabel." Says my Alpha. I walk over to him very slowly and everyone is watching me. "Why are you late?" Said my Alpha
"I'm sorry Alpha, I was finishing my chores and I wasn't watching the time." I said.
"After the Alpha King comes your going to get the beating of your life." Said my Alpha while growling.
"Please sir, I'm sorry. Please don't beat me." I pleaded. My Alpha went to go hit me when I heard a ferocious growl. My Alpha couldn't stop himself and he hit me with all his might. The last thing I heard was, "How dare you?"
