Grayson Ross.
"No! Come on Dean, get back up! Who even booked you to be so weak in this match!", I yelled, having all of my attention on the flat screen television.
It is a typical Monday Night in the Ross condo.
I yell at the TV switching between Monday Night Raw and Monday Night Football, drink beer, and sit in my recliner, while my girlfriend, Mimi, complains and tries to watch the Bravo channel.
"Come on can we please watch something else?", Mimi pleaded, putting a pout on her face.
"Mimi we agreed that I get the living room TV on Mondays from 7pm to 11pm."
She sighed."Ugh your right. Well I need to get to bed anyway, I have to do the 5am block tomorrow."
"Good luck with that. That's to early for my taste."
Mariah is a Broadcast Journalist, and works for an entertainment news show that films here in Atlanta, as well as a part time gig on the Channel 7 News.
"Goodnight love.", I yelled loud enough so she could here me.
"Night hun."
After she left, I continued to focus on the action on the TV, when my phone begun to vibrate.
I picked it up from my coffee table and answered the phone.
"Hello.", I answered.
"Hi, is this Grayson Ross?", A man spoke on the phone.
I slightly frowned." Yeah that's me. How can I help you?"
"Well Mr.Ross, I know it's a little late, but this is John Gaubrick, Executive Vice President of Television & Talent Relations at Total Nonstop Action."
I froze dead in my tracks. I tried to respond but nothing came out.
"I was calling you to see if you could meet with Dixie Carter, and I to discuss bringing you in as a writer. We came across your contact info on your Facebook account, and we noticed that you majored in Screen Play Writing and Television Production, at Georgia State University, and that you're a wrestling fan."
"Y-Yes sir that's correct. I just graduated a few months ago. I would love to meet with you all."
"Great. Book a flight to Nashville for this Wednesday. I'll email you the location of our headquarters."
"That I will do sir."
"OK. You have a nice night young man."
"Alright thanks, you too."
I hung up the phone and paused.
I just got a call from TNA Wrestling, one of the most popular wrestling companies in the U.S.
They want to interview me to become a writer for them.
All of this was happening while I was watching a wrestling program. What are the odds of that happening? Opportunities like this never come easy.
This is a chance of a lifetime, and I can't screw it up. I have to prove to them that I am the writer that they are looking for.

Mercedes Kaestner-Varnando.
"Ugh! Where are they!?", I exclaimed, shuffling around my apartment looking for my kickpads.
Today is a very important day for me. I am getting the opportunity to participate in a try out match for WWE.
My life goal was to eventually become a WWE Diva, and win the Women's Championship.
Even though I don't like the term 'diva', and the Women's Championship is defunct, I can only dream that one day it'll come back.
I instantly knew when I went to my first ever WWE show that , that was what I wanted to do.
I ran into my bedroom, looking all the way under the bed. I shifted my hand in every direction, until I felt my kickpads.
"Thank god. I have got to stop putting these on the floor.", I sighed in relief.
Once I put on all my gear, I locked up everything, and headed towards my car.
*************
" We appreciate everyone who came out here to try out for us today. We will notify you when we decide who we will be picking. You all have a nice day.", Matt Bloom, one of the trainers, spoke.
Tryouts were over now, and everyone was heading home.
"Good luck girl. You did amazing today.", Natalya spoke. I had my try out match with her.
"Thank you, I really appreciate that. This is my life's dream."
"I saw the spark in your eyes when you said that. You're determined, and you won't stop, until you reach your ultimate goal. I have faith in you, they will call you back, trust me."
I smiled." Thanks Natalya. I should get going now since it's getting late."
"I hope to see you around here one day Mercedes."
"I hope so too."
*************
Grayson."Wait, seriously?! Who called you?!", My friend Damon exclaimed, still trying to figure out what I was telling him.
We are at a local bar, having a few drinks.
"Yeah, TNA called me, and they want me to fly to Nashville to talk with them about a writing job."
"Dude, this is a chance of a lifetime for you. All you have been saying since we have graduated, is that you always have wanted a writing job on a TV show. It being a wrestling show is just a bonus!"
I took a sip of my budlight before I replied."I know man. I can't wait to tell Mimi. She got her job at the TV station just a month after graduation, and now I have my shot, and I can help her out more. I can't wait to tell her."
This meeting can be the start of a new chapter for me, and I need to make sure that I make a good first impression.
