Chapter 8 Zero can finally cook!

"Hey, Zero! Can you cook dinner?" asked Konan.

"Uh..sure." Zero replied.

Tobi walks in. 

"Oh there you are Zero~chan!"  Tobi said.

"U-uh. What do you want?" She asked.

"HM? Oh nothing." He said. "Your face is red. Are you catching a cold?" Tobi leans in to feel her forehead. But unluckily for him. She slapped his hand away. 

"I'm fine Tobi" Zero replied. With her head bowed. "Sorry but I got to go prepare dinner now." Zero walks out of the room.

"Z-zero" Tobi sighs. "Did I do something wrong?" 

" No... She's confused at the moment." Konan said.

"About?" he asked her.

"..." Konan does not reply.

In the kitchen 

"Zero...."

"..."

"Zero"

"..."

"ZERO...!" Shouted Kisame.

"Huh?! Yes Kisame?" Zero said.

"You seem a bit ....I don't know.. out of this world." He said. " Anyways. What are you doing in the kitchen?" 

" I'm cooking." She replied. "Dinner."

" What are you cooking?" Kisame said.

"Um...mash potatoes and fish--......... CHICKEN!"  Zero said.

"Fish?" Kisame said. 

"Chicken." Zero said.

"Okay~" Kisame said. "I'm going to meet Itachi on a mission now." 

"Ok." Zero said. 

Zero sighed. "This is tough!" 

Konan came out.. She came behind Zero and slapped her behind the head. "How long are you going to make Tobi wait." 

"Ow..." 

Konan sighed. 

"I don't know...I don't know how to answer him." Zero turned around. "I CAN'T FACE TOBI WHEN HE'S ... like that. I have my answer.... Just not my confidence." 

"HMF...GEAR UP YOUR SOCKS AND GO TELL HIM. YOU TWO ARE GETTING ME PISSED NOW!" 

"Yes! Ma'am." 

"Tch!"  Konan said. 

"Eh...but I don't have socks." Zero said.

Konan was already out of the room. 

Zero sighs, turns and went back to cooking. She finished dinner. Itachi and everyone had come home. They decided to have a bonfire. 

"PASS THE MARSHMALLOWS."

"Bring the biscuits." 

"AH...THE FIRE IS GOING OUT.!"

"MORE WOOD..MORE WOOD."

"AH DEIDARA-SEMPAI..YOUR CLOTHES ARE ON FIRE!"

"Jashin...help these idiots.!" 

"SHUT UP AND CALM DOWN."

"Idiots.....total idiots." Zero said.

"Here! I got you a smore!" Tobi walked up to Zero.

She looked at him. "Thanks" Then continued starting at the floor.

"Zero....I'm sorry if I confused you. But...you are not fair." 

"Huh?!"

"I told you I love you and I don't get an answer.!" 

"Wel-"

"Don't you like me back?"

"I-"

"I guess not." Tobi walked away. 

"u-h. T-Tobi....." Zero was staggering. Finally she got enough confidence to move. He ran...took Tobi's hand and pulled him into the house.

"I don't hate you...I-"
