They Call me the Nerd{Currently Under Editing}

Chapter 2- Being a Nerd

Sammy's POV

-Art(I am crazy obsessed with art)
-Choir(yes I sing)
-Band(I play the electric guitar)
-Lunch

     I am not just any nerd! I am a very special nerd with a deep, dark secret! I have the ability to see and hear things far away! I can also tell the future and time travel! I have many friends that don't know about this, but they are going to find out soon! I hope they don't freak out!

     My teachers just think I am a normal nerdy girl. I know the name of everyone in my school, although they don't all know me. I am kind of anti social. Since I am a nerd, people like to bully me, but I am also a cowgirl! I can push back, but not at school 'cause I don't wanna get yelled at! I get perfect grades and attendance. My teachers love me!

     While everyone else is goofing off (I think they will all work at McDonalds!) I'm doin' homework or exercising my horse. Most the other nerds call me the queen of all nerds!!! I love it! I don't like to brag, but I probably have the best grades and attendance in the entire school! I'm always the first person on the honors roll! I was thinking about asking out Jon! I don't know how, though! I've never asked a guy out before! In fact, I've never been asked out by a guy before!

     Jack and Justin said they would help me out! Jon is one of their other nerd friends. We have a school dance on Thursday. It is Monday today. Maybe I'll ask Jon out then! ☺️

Jon's POV

     Hi! My name is Jon! I'm 16 and the yes I am a nerd! I have a crush on a girl name Ashley, but she is one of the "cool" people. I doubt I have a chance with her, but I also like Sammy. On Thursday is the dance! I think I'll ask out Sammy. She is hot, especially since most people stereotype nerds as weird and disturbing. Yes! Some people call us disturbing!

Ashley's POV

      *Snorts loudly* I'm Ashley. I'm the coolest girl in school! I get all of the bad guys. My friends Paige and McKenzie say that Jon, I think that's his name, likes me. As if! He is such a nerd!!! They are sooooooooo disturbing! I can never imagine myself with him! He freaks me out. Like who really likes him? I don't think he has any normal friends. What kind of person would hang out with him?

Sammy's POV

     What!? I wish I could see that again! The future tells me that Jon is gonna ask me out on Thursday!!!

Finally the day is over!!!

     As I get ready for bed, I think about what I saw in my vision. I can't believe Jon actually likes me! I thought I might have freaked him out! I really really really like him! I send my mind to Jon's friend, William's,house. There's Jon and William(it's not that creepy I know where Jon is at all time). My friends call me a stalker and this is why. I know where Jon lives, I also know his parents' names, I've never been to his house or actually talked to him.

     The walk home I was whistling "Angel Eyes" by Love and Theft. By the time I got home I was fully singing it
There's a little bit of devil in her angel eyes! She's a little bit of heaven with a wild side! Got a rebel heart of country, my why, there's a little bit of devil in those angel eyes!
I walked in, put my backpack away, and jumped on to my bed.

   It wasn't long before my mom walked in. She must have something very important because she has cookies. "Sam, I don't know how to say this, but... Um... Your father got a new job in another state. We are going to have to move."

     Move!? " I understand" was all that would come out of my mouth without tears. She left my room; she must have known I needed some alone time. I put in my earbuds and turned on the blues.

     I don't know what happened, but I woke up to my little brother shaking me telling me to wake up and get ready for school. Oh no! I have to tell my friends I'm moving! How am I supposed to do this!? I don't even know when I'm moving! I wandered downstairs in a t-shirt, skinny jeans, and suspenders. I grabbed a bite of vanilla chex cereal and ran for my book bag. Holy crap! I didn't realize how heavy this actually is. I only have books, pencils, pens, binders, a hair brush, a mirror, and who knows what's in it! Fine! I might have a little bit of junk in it.

     I kissed my mom and dad before leaving. While I'm on the bus, I pull out my phone and text my mom, 'When are we moving?' And sent it. A few minutes before I got to school I got the worst reply from my mom, 'Tonight.' Tonight!? Why tonight!? Why can't we move on Friday? I want Jon to ask me out! There are my friends. Here I go! Before I got there I started thinking things and the song 'Mamma's Broken Heart' by Miranda Lambert. I wish I could be just a little less dramatic like a Kennedy when Camelot went down in flames! That was soooooooooooo me right now!

     As I approached, all my friends turned around with confused expressions. They can like tell my mood right as I walk near them! Great.
