Chapter 46

Nates POV

"Happy Birthday daddy!" I heard as I woke up. I smiled and saw Annica holding Ethan as they piled on top of me. "Awe, thanks guys. I love you" I smiled hugging them both. "Where's your mom" I asked. "Right here" Ana smiled walking in the room. "Happy birthday baby" she smiled, kissing my cheek. "What's the move for today?" I asked smiling. "All up to you" she smiled back. "Got a few things in mind." I smirked at her, earning a loud gasp and a smack to the back of my neck. "Hey!" I pouted. "I didn't mean that," I chuckled. "I meant like we all go out with my parents" he smiled. "Like go out for dinner later and during the day we go to that fair in town" I said. Ethan jumped up, "YEAH! Can we bring Annicas friend? He's really nice to me" he giggled. I looked at Annica, "If she wants to invite him I'm okay with that" I smiled. "I'll ask him if he'd like to go. I'll be sure to tell him you requested he joins, big guy" she giggled, tickling Ethan making him scream.

At fair- 12:30pm

"Daddy!" Ethan pouted. I turned around, seeing him on the ground about to cry. Annica ran up to him, "Are you okay buddy?" We all asked. "I-I hurt my leg" he said, letting the tears fall. "Oh baby, don't cry" Ana said. "Ma-mama it hurts" he said crying in her arms. "Cmon" I said lifting him up onto my shoulders. "No more crying tough guy. Should we get you some lemonade?" I asked him. "Yes pwease" he sniffled. I smiled and we all walked to the stand. "Hi can I get two lemonade shake-ups please" I said. (Am I the only one who loves those omf) After I payed, I gave Ethan his cup and the other to Annica. "Thanks dad" she smiled. I nodded. "E don't spill on me, alright?" I chuckled. "I won't" he said. "Eth, want some?" Annica asked her boyfriend. I will admit, I don't like the idea of my baby girl, my princess, dating. But, this boy treats her just how I treat her and I enjoy that. I never want to see her hurt. I know nobody is perfect, look at me for example. All those times I messed up with Ana but she still stayed with me. I should've been gone a long time ago because I never expected her to forgive me. But she did. "Babe?" Ana said, snapping me from my thoughts. "Hmm?" I said. "What're you thinking about?" She smiled hugging my arm. "All the times you forgave me for being a little fuck up" I chuckled. "Because I love you so much and I never want to lose you" she smiled, kissing me. "I swear if something ever comes over me and I end up leaving or doing something like the other times, find me and kill me because I don't think I can live knowing my wife and kids are worried sick about me" I said. "Let's not talk like that, yeah? It's your big day, big boy" she giggled. I nodded. "Daddy I get down" Ethan said grabbing my forehead. "First of all, where is your cup" I asked him. "Sissy has it" he said. I laughed, shaking my head and lifting him up and putting him on the ground. "Oh my baby can walk now?" Ana giggled. He smiled, taking his cup from Annica and grabbing Ana's hand. "Hi sweetie" she smiled.

Dinner-6:45pm
Anas POV

"So, Nathan, how do you feel?" Kami said smiling. "Old," Nate chuckled. "Nah, I don't know. I feel the same just a different year" he said. "I just can't believe you grew up so fast, son" Monte said. "Last I remember, with my old brain, was you crawling around butt ass naked when mom would change your diapers. You would crawl away before she could finish" he chuckled softly. "Oh my god dad, this is something we talk about when I bring a girl home in highschool" Nate sighed. I giggled, Annica looked grossed out. "So this is something we discuss with Annicas boyfriend" Nate smirked. "NO!" Annica pleaded. "Ethan, have we ever told you about when Annica was about three?" I smiled, knowing it was embarrassing Annica. He shook his head no. "Well when she was three, she asked me if we could go buy her a younger brother or sister" I giggled. Ethan laughed, "Shutup! It's was before I understood where babies actually come from!" She argued. We all laughed, "It's okay." He chuckled, patting her back. "Annica, I'm happy you found someone who takes care of you" Kami smiled happily. "Ethan, in surprised you can keep up with her" Monte laughed. Ethan laughed too, "It's hectic but you know how that goes" he smiled. Annica pouted and crossed her arms over her chest, "This isn't fair" she sighed. "It wasn't even that bad, baby" Ethan told her. Nate laughed. "Yeah it could be a story like grandma just told" he said. "DONT" Annica groaned. He held his hands up, "I won't now, by that doesn't mean I won't somewhere down the line" he smirked

"Thank you for the card and for joining us Ethan" Nate said as we dropped him off. "No problem, I had a good time" he smiled, waving to us all and walking to his front door. We waited until he was inside until we left. "Mom I don't feel well" Annica said. "Stomach ache? That time of month maybe?" I suggested. "Both" she sighed. "Lay down when we get home okay?" She nodded and rested her arms over her stomach just how I always do and layed her head on the back of the seat. A half an hour later we were at home finally, both kids asleep. "I'll get Annica and you can grab Ethan" Nate said. I nodded and walked over to the driver side. "Mama," Ethan whined. "It's okay baby. We're home, you can go to bed okay?" He nodded and curled into my body. Annica groaned as Nate lifted her body up. He opened the front door with his key, "I'm taking him to bed" I told Nate. He nodded and walked into Annicas room, laying her in bed. Ethan grabbed his blanket and layed on his stomach as I tucked him in. "I'll be back with your water, okay?" I told him, kissing his forehead. While I was walking to the kitchen, Nate grabbed my waist and kissed my cheek, "Baby stop" I giggled. "I have to get Ethan's water" I told him. He laughed a nodded letting go. I grabbed the power ranger bottle from the table and filled it with cold water, bringing it up to him. Surprisingly, he was already out cold, so I set it next to him and kissed his forehead.

OKAY IN SORRY IT TOOK SO LONG AND THAT ITS SO SHORT. This was SUPPOSED to be published the day of Nates birthday, but Wattpad had other plans for me clearly. I've also been going through a lot lately, so bear with me. Love you all😭💕
