i headed off to the studio to meet with scooter. he messaged me saying to come to the studio because it was important.

i hopped out of the limo and walked into the studio with my bodyguard. in the studio was scooter and justin? what was he doing here?

"hey" i smiled shyly.

"hey ariana" justin and scooter said in unison.

justin and i weren't the closest of friends. i mean we were signed with the same record company and performed together a few times but that was about it. we used to be close but at the moment justin was a person that you really didn't want to be around. he got into a lot of trouble and was always caught with the wrong crowds.

"sit down you two" scooter said to justin and i. we both sat down on the leather couch.

"so justin, as you know the public doesn't like your relationship with selena. they think that she's an obnoxious bitch and that she brings out the worst in you. and i agree" scooter explained.

i felt the same way about selena

"you know what, i don't give a fuck what you or anyone else thinks. i love selena and that's all that matters" justin yelled rather aggressively.

"well it's a toxic relationship. and i want the public to think that your not with selena anymore" scooter said.

"are you serious? so you basically want me to never go out in public with selena?" justin yelled again.

"yes. that's exactly want" scooter replied.

why was i here exactly?

"i'm not doing that" justin said sternly.

"you don't exactly have a choice. justin it's a toxic relationship and it's ruining your image. your not happy anymore and everyone can tell" scooter said.

"i'm pretty sure i can be in charge of my own relationship" justin said.

"and why are you here?" he added looking at me.

"i could ask the same thing" i replied looking at scooter.

"i want you two to pretend to be dating for the public. justin ariana will be your pretend girlfriend" scooter explained.

"WHAT?!" justin and i both yelled. did scooter seriously want me and justin to pretend date for the fans?

"you can't be serious" i said and justin agreed.

"i'm dead serious. and you have an interview on ellen tomorrow to announce the relationship. you are going to act like a couple" scooter said.

i understood that the relationship with justin and selena was toxic and she treated him badly, but getting me and justin to pretend date for the public, that's a whole different story.

justin and i didn't say anything, just sat there in silence and shock.

"well i'll see you both tomorrow for the interview" scooter said before leaving.

"i'm sorry that we have to do this" i said to justin.

"yeah" he scoffed.

this was going to be harder than i thought.
