Chapter 11 I'm Home

I opened the door and the first thing I saw was walls made out of glass, a big red carpet covering the floor and on a little stand a big throne made out of both wood and iron. On the throne there was a beautiful young woman on the throne who looked like she was in her early thirties, she had long white-blonde hair and beautiful green eyes, she was talking to a young man next to her. He was really tall with short black hair, quicksilver eyes and a bit of a brooding look on his face, 'Quick put your hood on and don't let them see your face just yet', Puck told me making it so nobody could see me just yet. 'What? 'Why?', 'Keirran has to explain it first, if they see you now I don't know what they'll do'. I gave a little groan and put my hood on, we went closer to the throne and both Keirran and Puck gave a little bow so I did a stumbling courtesy. The woman with the blond hair looked at us and stood up from her throne, 'Keirran, where on earth have you been? 'I told you I needed you in court for the next few days, so why did you leave?'. 'I'm sorry mother, I had no choice, I panicked', 'Why did you panic? 'This is the first time you would act this rash, whatever made you do this? 'Both your father and I were worried sick'. He gave a little sigh and lifted his head so he could look both at them, 'Mom, dad, is it true Serena is going to be involved in this?', from the moment they heard my name their eyes went wide and they looked at each other with worry in their eyes. 'Glitch', she called for someone and almost immediately a tall guy with bright violet eye, black hair that looked like it had sparks in it and punk-like clothes came in. 'Please escort everyone out here and make sure only the guards are outside, these three stay here', the guards came in and lead everybody outside, he came back inside and the blond woman, black-haired man and the man named Glitch joined us. 'Keirran you know better than to talk about her, they know her name around here, and believe it or not there are spies in our midst and just saying her name could cause them to go out and find her'. I was thankful they were too busy with Keirran to even notice me, I was feeling so strange, this was supposed to be the moment I was meeting my real parents, but they just seemed strangers to me. I recognized her from the memory I saw, her blond-white hair, bright green eyes and small face, it was the same with when I saw Keirran for the first time. Strange and yet familiar at the same time, I looked at them but still couldn't see them clearly, 'Mom, dad tell me honest, please, you know how much my little sister means to me'. I looked at him and I saw he was looking at me from the corner of his eye, he gave me a faint smile which gave a little more courage, 'Now is not the time for that Keirran, What I'm more worried about is, Puck, why are you here?'  She looked at Puck and I could see the most he wanted right now was to just disappear, Well Megan, you don't have to worry, she's completely safe', 'Well Goodfellow I don't know what that means but we entrusted her with you so we expect you to be with her every moment possible'. The man said and I had to do my best to not start giggling, 'Oh don't worry ice boy, I haven't broken the promise I made with you', he just glanced at me and I knew that if my mom and dad would notice it they would find out about me and Puck would have just made it worse. What I didn't see while my mom was arguing with Keirran and my dad with Puck was that the other guy named Glitch had come up to me and was standing close enough to see my face. I was dumb enough to look at him and the look in his eyes told me he was onto me, 'Princess?', he asked me, I took a step back but he had already taken my arm, making it so I can't move. 'Keirran I don't know you like this, truth be told, you were like this when you were younger but this is the first time in years you do something this impulsive', my mom was still scolding Keirran and when I looked at my dad he was still not letting Puck off the hook. 'Goodfellow, stop with the trickery and just tell me where my daughter is okay', 'My queen, even though prince Keirran and Goodfellow more than deserve this lecture I suggest you take a look at this'. They all looked my way and by the look on Keirran and Puck's face I could see we just got caught, 'Please, don't, please', but before I knew it he had taken off my hood and revealed my identity to everyone. I looked around the room and both Keirran and Puck were expressionless but my mom and dad were just shocked, 'Serena, is that you?', my mom asked looking like she could cry any second. 'Hi mom, hey dad, I'm home'.
