Say Something

Hey! Here is my first poem. This one is about Craig and Tweek from South Park! Hopefully you'll like it!     ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Say Something

I can not say why I love him, rather he

Is more different than I with a bad habit for

Swearing too loudly, too much in public,

His hat is spotted with unknown substances

like that of my coffee I have every morning.

He moves my belongings onto a table

In scattered stacks of papers ready to fall.

His hands have been hardened with

Calluses from work done outside on his

Bike he never rides, but keeps for show

We argue over little things but sometimes

It escalates into something more

And all that is heard is yelling

And objects breaking on walls

And a door slamming

You take a moment to breathe upon the porch,

Then start to walk into town while smoking

Your stupid cigarette that you'll never finish,

And I'm left alone in the kitchen with the soft

Sounds of the radio being the only thing I hear

While feeling the warm water droplets escape from

My eyes, but then I remember everything;

The way you always sing our special song on

Your way to work, how it reminds you of us

That old, ratty blue sweatshirt you put across

My shoulders during those late night drives.

I find hidden messages taped inside my lunches

And notebooks, telling me to think about you,

Giving me butterflies that spread across my face

The first time I looked at you, seeing the stars

Within your crystal blue eyes, how they shine.

Your jokes are terrible, but I can't help to

Laugh at that huge smile you wear while

Telling them. My heart melts every time you

Ask me to dance, no matter where we are

Or what I look like or what anybody else thinks.

Your black, Raven hair is soft to touch

Your fingernails are chipped....

Your eyes meet mine

Your feet too big....

Your smile

Your jeans....

You.

That's when I finally realize what you mean

To me and our fight seems like nothing.

I rip my jacket off the chair and bolt through

The door while breaking off the loose hinge.

I trip but keep my balance, rocks flying,

And I run after you.
