"Sarah, thank you for watching toby for the night. I dont want to be a burden." Sarah's stepmother said finishing getting ready for her eavning with her husband. Sarah stood at the doorway of her farther's room. "It's no big deal really." Her stepmother turned to face Sarah and cuped her face. "Thank you sweet heart." She said kissing Sarah's fourhead.
They both exited the Bedroom. "We will be home soon darling see you soon." Her farther said whilest leaving the house. Sarah walked into her bedroom. It wasnt the same as it was three years ago. All her stuffed animals and toys were given to Toby, or sent to good will. all she had left was her little red book of the labyrinth. Now her room was filled with books of a higher advance and posters of band members and thing she likes.
Sarah layed on her bed, clueless in what to do. Toby was asleep in his bedroom leaving Sarah alone. She looked to her right and saw her little red book. She really missed the labyrinth, her friends and in a strange way she missed Jareth. She turned to the page that was still book marked from when she last read if three years ago.
She read it out load. "In dangers untold, and heart ships un numbered. I have fought my way to the castle beyond the goblin city. Take back the child that you have stolen." Sarah stopped reading at there was a loud crash of thunder coming from outside.
A storm must be heading. She then heared the cries of her baby brother coming from his beadroom. She bolted up and ran to see if he was okay. She walked into the room seeing Toby under his covers, crying. "Toby, what's the matter?" Sarah said walking over to the crying boy. "The thunder scares me" The baby mumbled snuggling deeper into his blanket. "Would you like me to stay in here till the thunder goes away?" Sarah asked. Toby nodded reluctently as Sarah sat down on his bed.
"Sarah. Can you tell me a sory?" Toby asked snuggling closer to Sarah. "Of course. Which one do you want me to tell?" The 4 year old though for a few seconds. "The goblin king!" Toby cheered. Sarah smiled. "I havn't told this one in a while."
"Once apon a time there was a young girl who wasn't that happy. She always had to stay at home and baby sit. So one say when she got tired of looking after a screaming baby she decided to call on the goblins of help. So she wished the she wouldnt have to do this. Then her brother vanished and the windows bursted open. Then stood the Goblin King."
As she told the story she started to remember everything. Even the smell of the bog of the eternal stentch.Soon toby was asleep. She stood up and walked out of the bedroom. As she was about to walk into her room, there was a loud hammering on the front door.
'who could that be at this time?' Sarah thought to herself. She slowly walked to the door to see an all to familiar face.
"Hello Sarah did You miss me?"
"Jareth?"
