"Hey" Marley smiled answering the door
"Hey babe" Jake kissed her softly
"So I was thinking we could just relax and watch movies"
"Sounds perfect" He kissed her again.
"Why don't you pick out a movie and I'll go get some drinks and snacks"
Jake nodded and headed to the shelf stacked with movies. He loved these days with Marley, where they just lay around and did nothing. With her it was so easy. He didn't have to try hard, or take her out and spend money, and he loved that. It was simple and fun. You never wanted to let the feeling go. He came back to reality when he heard a big thump in the kitchen.
"Marls" He ran into the kitchen to see Marly laying on the ground, with chips and soda covered all over her. "Are you okay? What happened?"
She felt Jake lift her up and she placed her hand on her head. " I don't know, I was coming back into the living room and I just slipped. " She started walking again and when she took a step she screamed. "OW!" Tears started forming in her eyes as she leaned closer to Jake. "Jake it hurts"
"What? You're leg?" He hated seeing Marley in pain and he knew she wanted to cry. He picked her up and took her to her room. "Before we do anything else, let's get you cleaned off first, then I'm going to take you to the hospital, alright"
They got to the bathroom and she washed off her face and arms. He helped rise her hair, before getting her a change of clothes. After she got cleaned up and changed, He carried her to the car, and drove them to the hospital.

An hour later, they were out and headed back to Marleys. On the way back, she called her mom to tell her the news about her leg. It was broken. She broke her leg. How could this happen, she felt so bed, like she let the glee club down. When they got back to the house, Jake helped her into the house and to her bedroom. He knew that would be better in case she feel asleep.
"Alright, safe and sound back at home." He kissed her hand " How are you feeling?"
"Fine, I'm in need of some cuddles tho" She pouted
"Well I'll be more than happy to cuddle some, but first do you need anything like food or drinks?"
"We could start over with our original plans, movies and snacks?"
"Whatever you want love"
He kissed her cheek and headed down stairs to get a few movies, soda and some more chips.
"So should we start our lazy day now?"
"Yes we should" She smiled and kissed his cheek.
They curled up close together and soon after the movie started Marley got distracted by her cast and she felt sad again. She just felt terrible.
Jake noticed that Marley was feeling sad and he paused the movie. "What's on your mind babe?"
She wanted to lie and say nothing, but she knew it was no use with Jake. He could read her like a book. " I'm just upset about my leg" she sighed " I feel like the glee club is going to hate me, like it's all my fault" Tears started flowing down.
He was in shock with what Marley was saying about everyone being mad a her. That should be the least of her worries. He saw a few tears going down her face. He lifted her head with his two fingers to make their eyes lock. "Babe, don't even worry about them, you don't owe them anything, and it's not like you did this on purpose. All you need to worry about is you and your leg, alright?"
"Alright" She nodded
"You promise me you're not going to feel bad anymore"
"I promise" She gave a small smile and curled closer to him.
"Good" He smiled back and kissed her head

When Monday rolled around, Jake picked her up and headed to school. Marley was nervous, she still couldn't shake the feeling that everyone was going to hate her. She slowly made her way to the choir room with her crutches with Jake holding on to her backpack while placing his free hand on her lower back to steady her.
"Marley are you okay, what happened?" Tina asked when they walked in
Marley explained what happened and when ever some new came into the room, except Kitty, all asked if she was okay and after that, Marley felt a lot better about everything. She had Jake and her mom taking care of her and her friends weren't mad, and she was actually liking the extra attention, even thought she would never admit that.
