Dark Fire

Chapter 2: Training

I watched as Steve trained with Nat. Me and Thor sat on the bench eating poptarts. Yes I've shown him the wonderful treat. He almost ate the whole box. I almost burned him for it as well. I didn't feel like training today. Last time I broke Clint's nose on accident.
"So Stena do you and Steve do anything?" Tony asked wiggling his eyebrows. I felt my cheeks turn bright red.
"I will punch you Stark!" I yelled and chucked the box at him making Thor chuckle. I remember when Steve first kissed me.
Flashback
"I'll protect it" Wanda said looking at Clint, "it's my job." Clint and Nat went the other while me and Steve went the other way. My hair turned back to its normal blonde and my eyes back to blue.
"Dark side?" Steve asked.
"Yeah. If I use it to much... I become something dangerous" I said staring at the ground.
"That would never happen" he said.
"Steve-" I said but I was cut off by something I didn't expect. Steve pulled me to him and placed a soft kiss on my lips. I'm almost 17! I wrapped my arms around his neck but soon we broke the kiss for air.
"I'm sorry" he said.
"It's fine, Steve. I enjoyed that" I said.
"Let's get on a lifeboat" he said pulling me into a small hug. Me and Steve rushed toward a boat. We stopped when the sound of bullets came our way. Me and Steve ducked and got to cover. We ran towards the ramp to a Lifeboat and watched as Clint started to carry a kid back towards the Lifeboat.
"CLINT!" I yelled. I buried my face in Steve's chest. Then everything grew silent. I looked up to see Pietro. With bullets all over his body. I covered my mouth as Pietro fell to the ground. He was dead. I only knew him for a few hours but I felt something. Clint handed the kid to me and I carried him back to his mother. Me and Steve stood next to each other looking at once was Sokovia. The ground shook and started to go down. Steve grabbed me quickly and jumped onto the boat just in time. I watched as the ground below dropped. My heart skipped a beat as I watched it fall. Steve quickly blocked me from seeing anything. I moved my face so I could see. The floating city exploded into pieces before it hit the ground and pieces fell into the water below. Steve covered my vision once more. I felt tears roll down my dirt stained cheeks. My breathing was heavy. Steve and me scooted away from the edge.
Flashback Over
Thor told me earlier that he wouldn't be here that long. He came to check on me and Jane. Sometimes it felt like I was falling into the darkness. The nightmares changed me in so many ways. Sokovia changed me. Pietro was dead. Wanda and me had started to be become friends. I told her that I knew how she felt. We've been training together and I was teaching her how to fight without using her powers. I also found out some new tricks with fire. And some new things about my dark side. I kept everything bottled up and hidden inside me for so long. But one day darkness will take over. It'll destroy me. I don't want to be something I dread. I could already feel it inside of me. The darkness slowly consuming me. Natasha had Steve pinned to the ground in seconds. I clapped with a smile as she crawled off of him and held her hand out toward him.
"I must be going. Asgard needs me at the moment. I will tell father you are well, Alena" Thor said smiling like an idiot as he gave me a kiss on the cheek and a kiss on the lips for Jane.
"Bye Thor" I said as he exited the building at called out to Heimdall to open the Bifrost. I zoned out during the ride home. I didn't even realize Steve was talking to me. I looked out the window studying the buildings.
"Alena!" Steve yelled snapping me away from my thoughts.
"Hmm?" I asked staring at my boyfriend cluelessly.
"How do you feel about watching a movie tonight?" Steve asked.
"That sounds nice. I'll make my special 'let's order Shawarma!'" I said sarcastically.
"Sounds good" he said as we pulled into the parking lot of our building. I climbed out of the car and took out the keys. We had to use my car that I had at SHIELD because Steve's motorcycle broke down. He was bummed about his motorcycle but I promised I'd get him ice cream. I ran up the stairs to our apartment with Steve behind me. I unlocked the door and ran inside. Steve scooped me up and carried me bridal style into the living room. I laughed as he threw me onto the couch. I'm in love with Captain America!

Sorry for the short chapter. I'm thinking about skipping Civil War because since it's not out yet and I can't use the script since I don't have the script. Should I just make a big problem that involves Alena's dark side? Or should I wait till Civil War? I don't know. Tell me what you guys want in the comments!~ Kenlee Faith❤️❤️
