Until Dark

Chapter 5

Wait, how fast could this can be going we only left seconds ago and we where already at centre street and still picking up speed.
I looked out the window as we dashed past another street, just then I wish I hadn't we were going so fast that the world out side was just a blurry, bloby mess and it was making me sick. Now I was starting to think I was right, when I said that I was being pulled into a world of magic, for this was definitely no ordinary taxi cab.
As the world wized past the window thing stated to change in the landscape, and it became more blurry. That was possible or maybe I was just seeing things but then again I did get a letter from a man in an ally, so really anything is possible. Just none of this made sense it was like I was being pulled it to the world of wizerds and I was in the flying car but we were on the ground and I just don't know anymore. The we stopped and then we started again even faster before i even had a chance to look out the window. I didn't even know that it was possible to go this fast from a standstill but again the logic slipped away from all that was happening. I tried to look forward at the speedometer but it was conveniently hidden behind the divers elbow. The diver, I forgot that he was even there! I tried to lean forward to undo the little window blocking me from the answers the diver had but I guess gravity finally caught up with us cause I went flying backwards as soon as I leaned forward.

"Ow"

I thought. At least know one saw that fail, that would of been so embarrassing. Suddenly I felt the taxi slow down, naturally I looked out the window and all I have to say is that we sure weren't in my town anymore.

The buildings were all made of white Greek columns, with huge entry ways and beautiful windows that sparked when the light shone on them.

Wait sparked? I don't think that windows were suppose to do that. The sparks look as if someone was lighting the windows on fire but had awful luck.
But that wasn't the weirdest thing, the people were. I am used to a assortment of different people from my town but this was taking it to a whole new level. People come in all different sizes, I should know, I have always been awkwardly tall compared to my friends. The only people  who were taller then me was my mom and my grandma,which was also weird but these people took that to a whole new level too. Some looked to no more then 4 feet and others looked taller the seven or eight. There hair were colored in colors I had never even seen before, there were shades of every of the rainbow and it seemed to go even beyond that.

I stepped out of the car, taking in the incredible scene around me. Out of the blue, I was approached by a boy about my age, I turn my head toward his and we made eye contact. This was the boy from last night.
