The Aries

Prologue

Sounds of horns blaring. Metal against metal screeching. And the noises of bones crushing to dust was a sight that no one from this small neighborhood gathering would even come to think of.
To even fathom that a normal sunny day could lead to such a catastrophe was unbelievable. And yet, here it was.
A truck and a newly bought Lamborghini were pressed against each other slanted from the stilling earth as gravity held them down. In the midst of the two bumpers were two bodies. One was a young man barely at the age of 17. Someone who had his whole life ahead of him laid there against the newly furnished streets with a slight trembling bubble of flowery dress caged into a protective barrier in his nimble yet useless arms.
The flowery dressed patron was none other than the jolly 6 year old who was playing hide and seek just a moment ago running from her peers. The girl had blood gushing from her forehead as she trembled and chocked on sobs sniffling as her big doe brown eyes turned red.
All of sudden the earth that once stood still came crushing down with the father of time as the world began to spin once again. Just like an atomic bomb went off commotion could be heard. As feet came running frantically to the two bodies.
Horse screams could be heard as the peoples cries shook the heavens. Even mountains seemed to loose a few more crumbling rocks than usual.
There laid dead was the man who helped all in the neighborhood one way or another. Be it extra dollars for the groceries or a helping hand at repairing an old roof. That young youth had the hearts and souls of everyone present that frightful day within his grasp.
Sirens grew louder as the ambulance and cops raced to save the seeping life force. Yet before he went to the netherworld he opened his barricade and what they saw made everyone's breath stop the little girl could be clearly seen safe and sound even though a bit of blood was noticed and a few scraped but nothing was as traumatic as his once bright hazel eyes full of life closed for the last time.
