The air was damp, some droids were destroyed to become firepits for the homeless, some living creatures crowded around the fires, some were in alleyways while others were on every other corner. The only thing that stood out was a clone Captain, he was an odd sight to be seen on the lower levels of Coruscant besides the police droids and sometimes some clones that walked the streets, to make sure there wasn't any rule breaking. He seemed buff, like many of his brothers. He seemed almost lost, he wore a light brown robe that was ripped to all hell. The robe covered most of his armor, and his helmet showed that it had been marked up. His movements showed that he was slightly nerves and even unsure of himself, though as he moved closer to his destination he seemed to gain some strength.
He stopped in front of some old building that seemed to be falling apart, he took a deep breath before taking his first step toward the door which would change his life. As he walked, his breathing seemed to grow heavier, his thoughts traveled. He felt as if he had been there before, the feeling made him feel uneasy. An uneasiness that wouldn't leave even after making it to the door, he stared at the list of names of people that lived in the building. His hand rose as if he had no control over his body, his eyes watched as it moved to a young woman's name. His eyes frowned, he felt the uneasiness once again. He pressed the button, he heard it ring, the door opened as he heard a buzzing noise. He moved through the doorway, the feeling of uneasiness grew heavier. The feeling in the air became heavy as if he had walked down these every hall many times before, he couldn't stop himself from moving through the dim halls, the walls were peeling, the light flickered as he passed.
He seemed to have appeared in front of a door, he sighed, his heart rushed still, the feeling seemed to subside until a new feeling rose from the bottom of his soul. A feeling of something bad, the door opened to the woman. Her red lips were shining, her eyes were filled with happiness at his presents.
"Rex about time, I need help before everyone else gets here." her voice seemed to be in a cheerful tone.
Though, Rex felt his lips moving and he knew he was speaking, but yet he could not hear himself talk. She stepped aside and welcomed him in, at this moment he seemed to have gained control and he grabbed her but before he knew it the room was black. He could hear the sounds of screaming, 'is that me?' he wondered, he eyes barely opened, they could see a fuzzy form of a body that wasn't that far away, but then it went dark. He woke up in a white room, he looked around before calling out for the woman, a voice called out in return, he wasn't sure where it was coming from, but he ran to where he thought it came from, he ran to where he thought it had came from. His legs felt like they were burning, it felt like he had been running for miles, days or even longer. Soon, he stopped running, he smelled something burning. 'is that...' he wondered, the woman's voice seemed to get louder and, in fact, it seemed that she was closer than he thought.
He saw the woman, he looked her over, he noticed that her face seemed red, even burnt. "Rex, what.. what happened to your helmet?" her words baffled him. He had forgotten that he was wearing his helmet, as he went to take it off to see what had happened to it, the woman let out a blood curdling scream. Her screams of bloody murder scared him. He went to touch his face, he felt something strange. He went to look at his helmet and saw that some of his skin had melted on to the helmet which stated that he no longer had a face. This new information seemed like something he knew, she began to cry. Her cries were followed by her swinging her arms in anger.
He went to comfort her but she only pushed him away, "I think, I think we are dead..." this statement stunned him. He seemed to fall onto the ground, he was in disbelief, how could he be dead? How could THEY be dead? As he tried to remember that last bit of information that he had from his last moments the woman had sat down beside him, she sighed. She felt her face that had now begun to show the burnt skin.
"What do you remember?" he asked as he looked at her, she looked at his half-melted face and said with uncertainty, "I remember you grabbing me and we were kissing but other than that...nothing." he nodded, he went to touch what was left of his lips. A feeling he knew rose again, he went to look at her but he saw that she was gone and he was back in an unmarked ship. Before his mind went blank, he whispered one more thing, 'I hope we find out what happened to us.
