A/N
Hey! So this is the first thing I've written related to Star Wars and I hope I do well! I'm writing this on my phone so please point out any spelling or grammar mistakes!!!!!! I'll fix them eventually!!!Prompt: You are old and dying. You knew Anakin and you were married to Obi-Wan Kenobi. You had a spell put on you to make your life longer but your time is up now. You demand to see Ben Solo/Kylo Ren and explain to him that Anakin would not want this. Plus you're force sensitive.
You were on a hospital bed somewhere in Naboo.
"Mrs. Kenobi I'm afraid you only have a few days left. Is there anything you request before..... well...... you know?" The young nurse asked you.
"Bring me Kylo Ren." You demanded. The nurse looked shocked.
"But, Mrs. Kenobi, how do you expect us to contact the First Order without putting Naboo in danger?" You were expecting this response.
"I don't want the First Order. Bring me Kylo Ren!" The nurse ran out of the room to try to contact him.You shakily lied back in your bed. Raspy breathes left your mouth as you studied the white ceiling. You've always hated plain things. There was nothing more plain than a hospital. Your once vibrant hair was now white and your sparkling y/e/c eyes were now dull. You had wrinkles and trouble lifting large and small things. It was awful.
As you waited, the ghosts of Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker appeared at the edge of your bed. You could see them since your were force sensitive. Anakin looked how he did before he went dark side and Obi was his younger, bearded self.
"Oh, Obi. What am I to tell him?" Your voice cracked as you asked.
"Tell my grandson, I'm sorry. I never wanted this for my family. I don't want him to finish what I once started." Anakin quietly told you. The nurse ran in and the ghosts disappeared.
"Kylo Ren is on his way."____
You folded your old hands over your stomach. The door quietly squeaked open and the nurse stepped in.
"Ma'am. Kylo Ren has arrived. Would you like me to send him in?" She asked you politely.
"That'd be lovely dear, thank you." You weren't sure exactly what you'd say to Ben. You'd only met him a handful of times when Luke, Leia, and Han visited you. He was so young then, not yet training to be a Jedi.
A masked man the universe knew as Kylo Ren entered your hospital room.
"Take off that mask Ben. I will not spend my final moments speaking to a helmet." Your voice was strong and commanding, but at the same time it was quiet and raspy.
"Y/N, it's been a long time." His voice changed as he removed his helmet. He didn't bother to correct you on his name. Not this time.
"Yes, a very long time. Something I seem to be out of. I've been waiting to reunite with my husband and your grandparents for a long time now." At the mention of his grandfather his head snapped up to stare at you.
"I wasn't aware you were close with Darth Vader." At that you laughed.
"I was never close with Darth Vader. Anakin Skywalker, on the other hand, was like a son to me. Obi-Wan and I raised him." Your voice grew serious as you remembered all the amazing times.
You spoke again before he could.
"We are both force sensitive. Old Jedi's that have passed away can occasionally contact us. I was recently contacted by Anakin." Your eyes followed him as he walked to your bedside and kneeled down.
"And what did he tell you?" Ben asked you quietly. You smiled at him sadly.
"He told me he was sorry. Sorry that he turned dark side. Sorry that he was the cause of Padmès death and why I couldn't watch both his children grow up. Sorry that he took Obi-Wan from me. But most of all, he was sorry about you. He never wanted his family to follow his footsteps. He saved Luke. Died for his son and daughter. He wouldn't want you to try to kill his only son, your uncle. Your grandfather was proud of you for a long time before you joined the First Order. He told me he didn't blame me or Leia or Luke for you going dark side. Anakin told me it was his fault. Padmè would've survived child birth if he didn't join the Empire and he would've seen Luke and Leia grow up. Leia would've met Han in better conditions and you would have no reason to go dark side. Don't continue this dark path you are on Ben Solo. Return to your mother and father. Bring Luke back to his family, don't kill him. Go home. It'll be okay, I've seen it. The First Order will be destroyed and you'll have nothing to fear. No more innocents have to die Ben." At the end of your speech both you and Ben were crying.
"I'm sorry Y/N. I can't go home. I'll never be forgiven. Snoke wouldn't let me return. I've killed too many times." Ben's voice spoke, bouncing off the walls, echoing around the room.
"You're wrong. I've seen it, Obi-Wan and Anakin have too. All will be well Ben. Just go home." More tears streamed down your cheeks. You were out of time.
"Please Y/N. Help me go home." Ben cried to you. You gave him a sad smile and lied your hand on his cheek.
"I'm so sorry my dear Ben. My time is up. I'll finally be at peace, knowing all of you will be okay. Goodbye, know you are loved by your family no matter what." You gave him a real smile this time. A happy one. You were at peace. Your final breath left your lips, you were gone from this universe.
"Y/N? Y/N! Please you have to help me! Please....... Y/N!" Ben cried softly, gripping your cold hands. He knew you were gone. Now he knew he had to go home.
"Thank you Y/N. Goodbye."~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
All right kinda sad but ok for a first imagine?
