Every hero has a story they start with. Sure the real world doesn't have people trying to destroy the world or people coming from a different planet to protect us, but everyone has a story. So why is no one really a hero? My name is Augusta Creek. Im 15 years old. My hair was originally brown but I dyed it black because... Why not? Blue eyes, yeah yeah whatever same old stuff everyone starts with. One word for that. Lame.

Okay how about we get to the real thing now. Okay? Okay! I go to Reeds-woods Academy. School for smart kids. I mean it had the word academy in it. What'd you think? ANYWAYS! I was sent her by my parents who want the best for me. So they technically got rid of me... Couldn't blame them though! I mean professional parents dont want a daughter who likes superheroes, read comics, do YouTube, and sleep in!

Friends. How do I explain friends. Oh yeah. Strange. My only friends around this place are Erin and Eric. Twins. Weird, adorable, hot. Wait cross that out. Okay how bout we just skip to my REAL story. I mean maybe to the real point of this story. Yeah? Yeah.

I walked into the cafeteria and smelled well everyday breakfast. Once you smell the same things everyday you are use to it. Everyday at breakfast its either an option between Pancakes, juice, a fruit, and a cookie or scrambled eggs, juice, bacon, and fruit. Here's a head up. Food here SUCKS.

I rushed over to the line, got my food, and sat by my usual table with Erin and Eric. They both smiled and looked back at their phones. I rolled my eyes and looked around the room. I know all the groups. The cheerleaders, football players, nerds, goths, Clubbies, and then us. I never really payed attention to anyone else except really for Rose, Clarice, and Flora. I swore Rose's story was the definition of hero story. Trust me. Clarice was kind of like her... well sidekick. Oh and then there is Flora. Worst enemy you could say. Yup Im going with that. I always wanted to talk to Rose and Clarice but, how would I. They barely know me. One day though. I hope.

I was startled when Eric or maybe it was Erin yelled selfie and took a selfie with Erin or erm... Eric and I. He laughed and showed me the picture.
"Look at your face in it Augusta!" He yelled as his brother hit him.
"Eric! Be nice she is in her own little world." Erin said. So it was Eric. Eric stuck his tongue out and I smiled and reached over the table to punch him. Erin looked at me and gave me a smile. I smiled back and suddenly got a text.
'Ohhh he be crushing!' it read. I looked at who it was and I blushed.

"Eric stop texting me!" I yelled as he laughed. As you tell Eric is the funny one who gets in trouble too much. He is the prankster while Erin is the one I like. He is more shy and smarter. Yeah definitely smarter, and If I could tell them apart I would say cuter, but you know. Twins.

I snapped back to reality when the bell rang. I groaned and stood up to put my tray away. Eric and Erin followed me as we headed to our first class. Math. Having math first hour is the worst. Im never awake really and I just wanna SLEEP! How about we just skip to lunch. Right? Right.

At lunch I smelled grilled cheese. Gross. I decided to skip lunch and sat down at the table. Erin or Eric looked up and smiled.
"You guys need to wear necklaces or something..."
"Im Erin... Eric well is kind of missing." Erin said as I looked around. No where.
"Okay... also consider the necklace thing... Please?" I asked as Erin nodded and crossed his heart.

"I promise." He said and I smiled I suddenly got a text from Eric.
'Help!' it read as I stood up.
"Um I'll be right back!" I said quickly as Erin nodded and I ran out of the cafeteria. I knew where Eric was. That trouble maker was always there. I ran out the doors and over to an alley near the school. I saw Eric laying on the ground coughing. I ran over to him and knelt by him. He looked up and I saw a few bruises here and there. I helped him up. I looked at my feet.
"Im sorry..." I said as Eric looked at me.
"For What?" He asked.

"I could of been there quicker. Those guys need to leave you alone! Who are they anyway?" I asked as he shrugged.

"Doesn't matter. Hey... you are a hero though. You at least came... You are my hero." He said as I frowned.
Hero is not my definition.
