There is a lot of evidence supporting this theory and even the themes in this movie seem to suggest that Rey is Luke's daughter. One big clue is that Rey is the main protagonist in episode VII and we assume in episode VIII and IX as well. Each star wars trilogy revolves around a member of the Skywalker family: Anakin in the prequels then Luke in the originals and now Rey. With that in mind it seems so right that Rey is a Skywalker. All three of the character mentioned before: Rey, Anakin and Luke started out on a desert planet when we meet them with little or no family. You can also feel the connection between Luke and Rey at the end of the film when she holds out the lightsaber to him. This may be false but there has been a rumor going around that there was a screenplay leak that said that at the end of the film Luke knows who Rey is and looks upon her with amazement and confusion. Maybe She looks like his someone he knows? Or does he remember her? The first thing Luke pulls moves using the force is his lightsaber and her pulls it out of the snow and the first thing that Rey moves using the force is Luke's lightsaber also. Coincidence? Maybe, maybe not.....Luke's lightsaber was drawn to Rey, Luke and Anakin before him As Maz explained after Rey has her vision. In the teaser trailer for episode VII we hear Luke say "the force is strong in my family, My father has it (Vader's crumpled mask flashes upon the screen), i have it (a robotic hand reaches out and touches R2-D2), my sister has it (Maz passes Luke's lightsaber to Leia),You have that power too.." Rey being the protagonist makes me think that Luke is talking to Rey. Also when Kylo Ren reads Rey's mind as she has been captured on Starkiller base, he sees that she pictures an ocean and an island which at the end ofthe film is where we find Luke. Maybe she was taken from that island and dumped on Jakku when Kylo Ren and the other knights of Ren destroyed the other Jedi....Or maybe one of the knights of Ren was told to kill Rey but didn't have the heart to so he hid her on Jakku?? Is it just me or does that sound like a Snow white and the huntsman type scenario?? Rey is also a gifted pilot like Luke and Anakin before her and where was she trained? She has had no training that we know of (but could have as a young child) so otherwise it has to be genetics.
