Day 1

Hi guys! Starting from this chapter third person muna gagamitin ko for a while. Then I'll indicate na lang if it would be somebody's POV na. Thank you!

Alden woke up with his shoulder feeling heavier than usual. He looked into his side and smiled at the sight of her wife.

"Good morning passengers, this message is to inform you that we are about to land in 15 minutes" The audio in the plane said.

Maine was still soundly sleeping. Parang walang epekto yung lakas ng message.

Alden took his phone out, snapped a photo of him smiling while meng was sleeping on his shoulders.

He quickly posted it on twitter.

"We are about to land in New York yet this beautiful lady right here is still asleep! Grabe ka love! @mainedcm *insert photo*"

Limang segundo pa lang ang nakakalipas libo libo na ang likes at retweets nito. Inoff niya ang notification at dahan dahan ng ginising si Maine.

"Love..." He slightly tugs her hair from her face para magising

"Uy mahal, gising na" He tapped her cheeks na sobrang hina pero wa epek pa rin sa tulog mantikang si Meng.

"Jusko ang sleeping beauty kailangan ata ng kiss ni prince charming oh"

While Maine was still sleeping. Alden lifted her face by holding her chin. He gazed upon his wife's face, from her almond eyes, to her pointed nose and down to her fluffy lips.

Slowly, he placed a soft, tender kiss upon her lips which finally, woke up Maine.

"Wow effective" Alden smiled to himself.

"Yung ano?"

"Ay wala po mahal na prinsesa, goodmorning po"

"Goodmorning Mr. Faulkerson"

Maine gladly greeted.

It was their first day as husband and wife. Their management gave them a 2-month leave for them to enjoy and get rest together.

Syempre madaming nalungkot. Maine at Alden ba naman ang hindi mo makikita eh. But everybody understood and of course, happy for the both of them.

Maine insisted that they go to New York for their honeymoon. She's been there of course during her OJT at the Sagamore but Alden wanted them to go to Europe together.

So para walang away, they decided na they would allot one week for New York and one week for Europe and then the rest of their leave would be spent at the Philippines. Getting ready for their life together.

When the plane officially landed, Alden planted a kiss on Maine's forehead.

"Ganda talaga ng misis ko, kay swerte ko naman talaga"

Maine started making wacky faces again. Wala eh, nakasanayan niya na yan tuwing sasabihin ni Alden na maganda siya.

"Ay wait selfie muna tayo"

Maine suggested so she quickly took her phone out from her handbag, and snapped a photo when RJ kissed her cheek. Yun tuloy yung nacapture sa photo.

"Post it na" Alden said. "Ayaw, its too cheesy"

"And so? Asawa mo na kaya ako"

"And so ka rin? Walang magbabago. Ayoko pa rin" Maine answered as she stick her tongue out to Alden.

"Cr lang ako bago tayo bumaba ha? Wag ka mambababae! Saglit lang ako!"  Sabay alis ni Maine bago pumuntang restroom

Habang ito namang si Alden ay mabilisang kinuha yung phone.

"Day 1 of Meng and RJ. The start of forever

Ps: Ang gwapo talaga ng asawa ko"

Yes, he posted the photo using Maine's instagram account.

He smiled to himself dahil sa kalokohang ginawa niya.

And it was these little things. These little things where they can't get enough of each other. These things where hindi buo ang araw nila kung hindi iiratahin ang isa't isa.

It was their own way of saying I love you.
