Chapter four- I am beast
Corey's POV
Joining the military was the only good thing for me, at least here I won't be so out of place. For being disfigured.
That's right I'm a monster! I was in the wrong place at the wrong time. So now I have permit damage to my face and body.
That's why my family had to move because they were being harassed because of me.
Clenching my fist, I decided to go for a walk to clear my head before training because going there angry is never a good thing believe it or not.
"Yo! Beastie! There's a letter here for you" I best friend Rex hollered out to me while running up to give me the letter.
"Thanks man" I replied while patting him on the back once he handed the letter over.
"Training is about to start you might want to hurry up you know big man doesn't like it when people are late." Rex said with a chuckle before running off.
Glancing at my watch I realised I wouldn't have time to read my letter before training.
Quickly I returned to my tent and put the letter on my bed before I ran out to join training.
"Beastie!" Yelled the asshole in charge that likes to make my life a living hell!
"Yes sir!" I yelled back while saluting him.
"For being late you are to run ten more miles!" Man this Barily dude is getting on my nerves!
"Yes sir!"
By the time the other man have finished running I was on my last legs but I still have ten more miles to run.
The only thing that keeps me going is that fact that I know when I get back to my tent I'll get to read the letter from Melody.
She really is a unique girl and she has been the only one to make me laugh in a very long time.
Some of things that she writes me in her letters make me believe she's a very big day dreamer, that or she's crazy I thought with a chuckle.
Shacking my head I couldn't help but push myself harder.
After what seemed like forever I finally returned to camp, not worrying about dinner I decided to read my letter instead.
Ripping open my letter I begun to read.
Dear Corey,
How are you?
I am not really copping to good with out you sister here in fact I am basically invisible but please don't tell her that I don't like it when she worries.
Now I have sent a photo of me as well but you won't get to see it tell the end of the letter (no peaking) I know if you do after all I have eyes everywhere. Haha
Now for your question game I am up for it. I actually think that it's going to be kind of fun buddy old pal.
1. My biggest fear has changed to someone breaking into my house
2. I am not sure what I want to be when I finish school but it'll be something totally awesome. Haha
3. Now for how I meet your sister is kind of a funny memory. I am very weird as you know and I was getting bullied, and of course me being me mumbled "I hope you all turn in to toads because I know your no ones Prince Charming" I know it's weird but it's all I could come up with I swear. Anyway your sister threatened to kick there bums. (This is the short version but one day I promise I'll tell you the whole story. Haha)
Now here are you questions.
1. What is the biggest thing you miss about home? (You better not say the boogy monster)
2. What's you favourite food?
3. Tell me a weird awesome fantastic fact about yourself?
4. Do you have robotic arms?
I know I have asked you another question but hey I am awesome like that. (Insert huge smile here)
Now I better go before you get sick of talking to me haha or should I say writing.

P.s I'm scared
At the bottom of the page was a picture of her and I am in shock she is absolutely beautiful.
My idea of perfect but I have a feeling she will be more of a sight to see in person.
What does she mean she is frightened for her life? Who's scared her and has she told anyone?
Why tell me, and why wait tell the end of the letter to say that?
So many questions are running through my head and I can't help be worried but also flatted at the same time that she choose to tell me.
If someone is scaring her I'm going to find out and there will be hell to pay!

I know this chapter is short and really late for being updated. I want to apologise to anyone I have ignored for comments and stuff and thank everyone for reading.
I also want to say that they will be slow updates until I finish my other story, but I'll appreciate any feed back thanks :)
