Chloe is a baseball fanatic. She always has been, ever since she was young and would stay up during nap time to watch the game with her dad, faking sleep when her mom would walk in. She could talk strategy, players, and positioning.

She's willing to do anything to play with the big boys. She practices day and night, she takes private lessons, and she comes to all the school's practices, even if she isn't welcome.

But of course girls don't play baseball. Girls play softball, and they're expected to grow out of it, go to college, meet a boy, and raise a family. But to Chloe, baseball is more than just a game. It's a passion, and not one she's letting slip away any time soon.

There's no written rule against it, but everyone knows it. Girls don't play baseball.
