I thought, I knew, things couldnt get any worse. The love of my life was married to now my worst enemy. That was before I got the letter. I have never gotten mail before, so this was a strange turn of events. Turns out it was very old. Like, almost 8 months old. I guess when I left the postman was unable to find me untill now. Eagerly I opened it, praying that it might be news from my parents, Kate, or well, anybody at that point. It was a handwritten letter, and the date on top was 3 day before my birthday, which was 7 months ago. There was the normal beginning, just a "Dear Ravyn". What followed was what tore my heart out...

Dear Ravyn,

I wrote this to say happy birthday, and I hope it reaches you

on time. When you left my house, I was at a loss. But now, I

am going to be completely honest. I am madly in love with you.

I have been since the day we met. And that night, having you

in my arms... it was magical. Yea I know that sounds wierd for

a guy to say, but it was. And you want to know what? I am

going to find you, no matter how long it takes, and we can

start a life togwther, just you and me. I promise, with all my

heart, that I will be able to hold you again.

Forever yours,

Gavin

I think I read it through five times, not believing my eyes. For a second there was a spark of hope, but it was choked off quickly by the memory of him with May, looking so happy. He hadn't even reconized me. A flash flood of fury over came me for a moment and in a blur I had torn up the letter and thrown it on the grownd, followed quickly by a tidal wave of pain, remorse and regret. And for the second time that week, I soon found myself in a pool tears.
