Chapter 6: Folding Collide

With determination, I swiftly took the headphones off and plug in my earphones. Making sure that my communication signal is connected.

"Ryou, you're in charge here."

"Alright." Ryou gave me a nod as I open the door and started running. At the bottom of the stairs I saw Malik waiting for me.

"Come on Yugi!"

"Alright!"

When I reach towards the bottom we quickly made a dash towards the first floor. I connect Joey's signal and said, "Joey, where is he?"

"Right now he's at the clothes section. Do you want me to grab him?"

"You? Grab him? For your information, the guy is TWICE your size. For now, just follow him. Find out his next designation."

"Roger that."

When we're finally at the bottom floor we quickly rush towards the clothes section. Just then, Ryou's voice started talking to me.

"Yugi! He's at the play toy section. Go to your left."

"Thanks."

We made towards the left and luckily found him. Unfortunately, when he turn around.

He recognized us.

"You!"

"Black Rat! You're under arrest for shoplifting."

"Catch me if you can then!"

He quickly turn and made a dash for it.

"Hold it!"

Malik was the first to start running; being able to catch up to him until Black Rat grabbed a random person and slam him to Malik. Both Malik and the random person fell at the same time. Malik growled before yelling out, "Catch him, Yugi!"

"I got this!"

I quickly ran after him. There were some difficulties and many tricks that he pulled to make me lose his trail. But many time I was able to come back.

'No way in hell am I going to let him beat me, again!'

"You Rat! Stop!"

The man just laugh began running towards the game sections.

'Great. Just great.'

As much as I love games, the place is filled with many corners; making it hard to follow someone who take sharp turns. Knowing that I ran faster and faster. When Black Rat turn to another corner, he shouted, "MOVE IT!". I didn't pay attention and when I finally made a sharp turn around the corner.

Someone blocked me.

"Ahhhhhh!!!!"

He and I fell from the impact as the game that he was holding in his hand flew up and dropped somewhere on the ground. My eyes was closed as the person's body lay flat on the ground, while my own body landed on his chest. Me being on the top, while he's on the bottom.

Both of us groaned.

"I'm so sorry, sir. Are you alright?" I apologized.

"Y-Yeah..."

When he open his eyes; I was shocked.

Time seem to slow down for me. The being before me is absolutely breathtaking.

And he looks like an exact version of me! Only, he's a few centimeter taller, very handsome, and his aura is surrounded in a dominate form. Not only that, he's like a complete opposite of me.

(Yamis: Opposite?.....maybe.)

"You okay mister? Is everything alright? Are you hurt?" I apologized again. Feeling a rush of warmth coming from my cheeks.

'What's happening to me?'

"Y-Yes, I'm fine."

Both of us stared at each other. Trying to take in the sudden appearance of each other's looks and position.

"Yugi! He's getting away!"

Joey's voice broke my daze and made me realized my situation.

The Rat is escaping!

"Gomen! *Sorry!*"

I quickly got off of him. Much to his disappointment.

"I'm in a rush! Bye!"

I quickly exit the game section before calling Ryou to tell me where Rat is.

"Second floor! Hurry!"

"Roger. Ryou, can you predict where he will go next and track him down? Joey's following him."

"Yes."

"I'm counting on you."

"Roger!"

The line went dead. I began to run faster. Not knowing that the guy I crash into.

Is following me.
