"Anything new, Violet?" Shadow smiled, her locker beside mine. "You're my best client, y'know. I do have some nice things." I chuckled pulling out a flask. "Now, use this one at recess, turns the person who drank it, or well, came in contact with it into a rabbit for a few minutes. Works great for making people late!" "Nice job, Violet!" Shadow complimented. "Also, I made the Dragon Flask you requested. We'll test it at recess too." I tossed her a flask, the cork being in the face of a dragon. "How long did it take you to carve that?" "Maybe an hour... or six." I sighed, she laughed. "Any requests?" people seemed to be ignoring our conversation, I wouldn't want to get unwanted attention. She nodded, and went into the room nobody would go into, because they thought it was haunted. Quickly, I grabbed a bunch of bags and empty flasks, dashing after her. "A love potion." I sighed, laughing. "Are you kidding me? Those fail, most of the time." she shook her head. "Fine fine." I grabbed an empty flask and started to burn some random leaves so their ashes fell into the flask. "This will have to do, until I get my hands on the reagents. Do you want to come and help me gather some? I set up a portal here." She nodded, keeping her voice down. In one of the bags there was some cotton, straight from a cotton tree. I then added some Sakura Petals from a Sakura Tree. "So we need some tar, and then some water. Don't worry. We won't be considered 'late' for some reason the teacher doesn't care." I dragged her into a wall and we went into a dimension. The sky was purple, the clouds were dark. The grass was black. The color scheme seemed to be Purple, Black, Red and occasionally the dark blue. "Here's some tar." I said, filling the flask with the liquid. "And now, some water and a tint of magic."

Trees sprouted from the ground, bark made of ash, leaves of purple petals. I went to touch one and the ash collapsed. "They regrow fast, it's fine." Violet said, rushing to get some water, nearby. She mixed the ingredients in the flask and blew on it, it turned pink. "This is a makeshift love potion." she explained how to do it. Out of nowhere a giant dragon landed. "Greetings, Cyan." The dragon's scales were indeed Cyan, I see where she got the name. Her eyes were amber, her membrane was a purple-like blue. "You see, we can't really take these dragons into our world, but we can take the bats. Let me say I got the inspiration from Gregor the Overlander. Cyan lowered her neck, Violet got on and reached a hand out to me, pulling me on. "To the ruins, please." Last time I was here she took me to explore a cave, we needed to gather some mushrooms that only grow here for some sort of potion, I forgot what it was, I think it was to make the other land. Ah yes, the other land, I suppose I should tell you what that is.
The other land is a place beyond school grounds, literally nobody can go in there unless they've drank the potion. It was golden plains, with beautiful trees that were red, orange and yellow. Basically the land of fall. The plains were where our creatures were, and how we conjured magic. "So, is it today?" I broke the long silence. "Yes, we're nearing the ruins. It isn't really training as you would say. You just eat this fruit, the last one for a few years and your a witch. You gain the knowledge. "Sweet!" "You're an orphan, right?" "Yeah, why?" "You're living with me in my mansion. It's actually in the other land." she chuckled. "My actual 'home' is somewhere in like, america I think." she added. We neared ruins that looked like the Nether Fortress in minecraft, except made with dark purple drinks. In the centre there was a pedestal with a strange fruit in the middle. Cyan landed down. "Here," Violet fed Cyan some pellets. "Now, you eat to!" Violet said playfully, handing me the fruit. I took a bite, it had a sweet flavour, it tasted like an apple, with more. Her eyes lit up. "Now, have some LOVE!" some pellets surrounded me. "Really?" she laughed. Knowledge flew into my mind and my arm stung. My left arm felt funky. "Now, that's supposed to happen. A large bat flew down and dropped two fruits. "These are kind of sour, they're like lemons." she warned, and ate one in a gulp. I did the same. "This, is just to uh, well make sure our powers are working I guess." the bat watched, Cyan was sleeping. I checked my arm and there seemed to be black and red dots from my elbow to my wrist, all on the inner half of my arm. They were like studs, so I ran my hand over them and they dissipated. "There we go." she laughed. "So, are we going to be practicing riding bats?" "Yep, these bats are well, just bats that help about, our riding bats are kind of far from the ruins, you see, the witch before us I forget her witch name and real name had selected the best fliers, I think you'll find one you adore, she shares the looks of you. Since Cyan is sleeping, we could walk there. "But you said it was far away!" "So? It's good exercise." I laughed at her words. "I didn't' choose one yet, I was waiting for today to choose one, it'll be recess by the time we get there so I suppose we could fly. A serpent swooped both of us off and flew swiftly through the air. "Woah, thanks, heh. She flies faster than dragons because she's thinner and doesn't have to deal with wings slowing down, relax, don't hold her tightly." she told me how to ride her, and that we ride bats the same way. She said she always pronounces Ares' name as Aris, and she was planning on naming her bat Aris, even though the bat from the book is Ares. Aris was a gender-swappable name so it didn't matter the gender to her. It was a fairly long ride, a few minutes at the least. Upon arriving there was a very well built cave, apparently carved by the river, or previous Witches/Wizards/Warlocks or whatever. We entered and the serpent had lit the candles across the wall so we could see. There was a particular bat I had a liking to, who was huddled in a corner. His eyes were red, fangs sharp, strong and had black fur, similar to me, as she described. The bat opened her eyes and flew towards me. "I see she likes you, is this the one you want?" Violet asked, I nodded right away. Violet looked at the bats. "I'll let the bats choose me." she smiled. A bat with almost golden fur approached her, about the size of mine. "Heh, looks like Aurora chose you." I teased, having read the same book. "Indeed." she said. "Do you like the name Aris?" she softly said. The bat said, in the same soft tone, "Yes". "What do you want to be named?" I asked the bat. "Midnight." she replied. "You can go now, Cloud." Violet told the serpent, who flew off, faster without two kids on her back. "Can you take us back to the portal?" she checked her watch, speaking to Midnight and Aris. The bats nodded, letting us on. "Relax." she reminded me, so I did. "This is fun!" I called out once they picked up speed. They were flying quicker than the dragon, being more agile indeed. "Do we need to bond with them?" "Nah." I smiled, petting Midnight who seemed to be enjoying herself. A few of the other bats, who rested around the plains joined, celebrating the bond, which came from riding. We arrived at the portal. "So it's going to be recess soon, I'll go grab Sarah and Frisk, I don't know if we can trust Devi. Violet frowned. "Aris, turn left and fly into the cave down there. Midnight, please follow too." there was another portal to the other land, which we flew into. "Stay here with Midnight, get to know each other. I'll fly with Aris to retrieve them. They're normally always together." Violet flew off.
