Layla got in the car with a bag in her hand. She placed it on the car floor and Michael started driving again, ignoring what I had said.

I ignored it as well and stayed silent for the rest of the car ride.

When we arrived at Layla's house, Michael got out of the car and walked over to Layla's side. He opened her door while she was getting her stuff.

Opening the door, I stepped out of the car and stood up. I took a few steps away from the car and closed the door.

Layla got out of the car and stood right in front of Michael. While I waited for her I heard Michael said, "I'll come later, okay?"

She said goodbye to Michael and starting walking to the entrance of her house.

I followed behind her putting my school bag on one of my shoulders.

I looked at the house and it was decent size.

She opened the door to the house and asked, "so what do you want to do first?"

I replied shrugging, "I don't know, whatever is fine."

"Do you want to eat something?" She asked walking to the kitchen.

I nodded and Layla said pointing to a chair, "you can put your backpack there if you want." I nodded again and placed the backpack on the chair.

While I walked back to the kitchen I saw pictures of her family. I smiled and asked, "Do you have siblings?"

"Yeah, I have an older brother and an older sister," she added, "my brother doesn't live here anymore but my sister does."

I laughed softly saying "I have two older brothers but none of them live in my house. Actually, my parents are always out of town so I'm kind of always alone."

She laughed saying, "sometimes I wish I was alone, my sister always brings in friends and they're very loud. They blast music and start singing, and let me tell you, they don't have the best voice."

I smiled continued to make small talk so it wouldn't be awkward. "So, what do you like doing best?"

"I like drawing, I'm not very good at it but I'm trying and I'm getting better. How about you?"

"I like reading and writing."

I was going to continue but I haven't updated in so long I'm so sorry but yeah. I have two weeks of school left but I have finals next week. i'm sorry I'll try and update consistently. But yeah, here yall go. there's not that much cake right now but once it happens there will be a lot.
