I'm running for my life from some imperial officers. "Well someone's not in a good mood today" I yell. I lose them finally and I laugh to myself. Suddenly I stop I feel like I'm being watched. "Who there" I say dangerously "Well hello" a familiar voice says "Kallus" (did I get his name right I don't remember) I growl. he's been after me for a while. He laughs and starts chasing me. I run into a dead end "darn" I silently curse to myself. "Well look what we have here" Kallus says. Panic takes over "let me go" I yell frantically looking around for an exit. I hear laughing and then my world goes dark.

Kanan's Pov

"You wanted to see me Hera?" I say walking into the bridge. "You said that the cargo we were supposed to steal was food."
Hera questions. "The cargo IS just food" I state folding my arms. "Well I got news they were transporting a boy"
I freeze up at that. A Boy! "Well let's go get him then!"

Back to Ezra's Pov

I was laying on the floor back in chains and in a puddle of my own blood. Huh I've been in this situation thousands of times. Kallus came in and laughed "hello new slave" I spat at his shoes cause hey. I couldn't reach his face. "G-G-Go t-to h-hell" Man I sounded weak but that sometimes happens when you get beaten to a bloody pulp. Suddenly an alarm went off and and Kallus ran out of the room. Time to get to work. Luckily I got the chain off but I couldn't open the door without my tools. Wait is that voices outside? "Hurry up Sabine" I hear. The slowly hisses open and I take a step back. A man and a really cute girl come into view. "Wow now I don't have to worry about opening the door" I think aloud. "Holy..." A girl starts but I cut her off "Yes I'm covered in blood. And yes it is mine now can we go?" What can I say I'm inpatient.They seem taken back for a moment before we start running. As we near the transport pod I hear Kallus yell "STOP" we all stop and stare at him. "You will not just mindlessly take MY property" anger boils inside me "Hey brainiac I'm free" I wave my arms to make a point."Seeeee no chains. And I am not yours, or anyone else's slave EVER again" I stick my tongue out and we run onto the other ship. I suddenly feel weak and I drop. "Woah!" I exclaim rolling on my back. "That hurt" I groan and try to sit up but a hand stops me "woah there buddy you need to rest. Don't worry I'll keep you safe." Her voice was soothing "ha" I laugh sadly and a tear rolls down my cheek "you sound like my mom" and with that I was out like a light.

Kanan's Pov

"Ha" the boy laughs as a tear rolls down his cheek "you sound like my mom" he then passed out in Heras arms.Hera carries the boy to the infirmary and patches him up. Not even ten minutes after passing out he starts whimpering and shaking. "Hey kid, kid wake up" I say shaking him slightly. He suddenly bolts up and grabs hold of my shirt. "It's all my fault. All my fault all... " he starts to full on sob into my shoulder. I rub his back and whisper in his ear "your safe here"
