We walk down the sidewalk together, we all decided to get ice cream. John decided to get chocolate chip cookie ice cream, that's always has been his favorite.
Dave chose fudge brownie, and Rose chose vanilla bean. I decided to choose Neapolitan, it's got three different flavors in one!
I think about Rose and Dave as I walk. Rose is smart, sarcastic, and really nice. Dave is cool and funny, I like them both.
I smile as the sun starts to set, turning the sky pink and orange. It looks different from where I lived with all the buildings, but it's pretty in its own way.
"We should get home, it's getting late, and we are starting school tomorrow." Rose states after finishing off her ice cream, throwing the small bowl and spoon away in a trash can.
"Big day ahead of us tomorrow!" I exclaim. I think about how there's gonna be lots of other people to meet!
"Alright, bye guys! See ya tomorrow!" John says and waves as me and him start to walk back home.
We walk back home talking, mostly me asking lots of questions, the more I hear the more certain I become that it's gonna be the best day ever!
