Hey everybody, here is chapter 6 I'm sorry for the delay. School, family, and trying to get it uploaded when I have internet is a pain at times.  This chapter is dedicated to my "brother" kyle Dorsey beause he was actually (you could call it brave or stupid) enough to actually snort nerds. So this chapter took a lot longer than than the others but I hope you like it. Let me know what you think!

Oh! picture of Ash on the right!  -------------------------------------►

Ash's POV

I drove home in a giddy frenzy. I couldn't wait for Lexi's party. Wow! I sounds like a chick. Dang, I need to man up. Arriving at my apartment I took the stairs 4 at a time, yeah it pays off to have long legs. I dropped my book bag on the couch. "Screw school!" I shouted. Okay, why am I so excited?

"Dude, duh you like her!" What the crap? I'm hearing voices, great. Wait maybe it's my conscience. "Bingo, we have a winner!" It sounded again. Okay I don't need or want a conscience. I'm fine on my own. Anyway, Bob, yes I named it Bob doesn't know what it's talking about. I don't like anybody, I just got here for god sakes. Don't get me wrong Emili, and Lexi are cool and all but I can see them being more like best friend characters than anything else. The elders sent me here for a reason but i don't think they are it. I took a shower and attempted to get dressed. Great, I thought to myself. Now I have to dress to impress. Well I'm no-good at that so I'm just gonna put on some really clean clothes not the it don't smell real bad clothes. I finally settled on a pair of black skinny jeans, a red shirt that says "it's a duck..." with a picture of a duck saying beep beep, then underneath it said "it's a funny duck!" my black converse and my black leather jacket and jogged out the door. Half way into town, I realized I never got Lexi a gift. I took a sharp turn to the local shopping complex and booked it to hot topic, Eh I thought to myself too cliché. I walked out of the building and drove to the closest antique store. The dilemma...what to get her! After about 15 minutes I was about to give up and go with the generic card with money when something sparkly caught my eye. What I like shiny stuff, don't judge me. When I got to the source of the shininess, I saw a cameo ring and my mind flashed back to the necklace Lexi wore almost religiously. That was all it took. I grabbed the nearest employee and paid for it. Jumping back in my car and driving to Lexi's was the hard part. This girl lived in the booneys, I'm not kidding ya it turns out that Jingle Grove is 10 miles long.

When I finally got there, I took several moments of self preparation before walking up to the front door. The door opened and revealed a jittery Emili who was looking adorable as ever. She wore nothing but simple pair of ripped jeans and a fitted VersaEmrge tee that showed how fragile and petite she actually is. I smiled," Hey Red, where's Lexi?"

“ Oh! She'll be down any minute." she sounded really excited for some reason. As I saw Lex' jog down the stairs I could only guess why.

Lexi's POV

I heard a gasp and stopped in my tracks to see Ash standing at the doorway with his mouth hanging wide open as he stared in my direction. I looked behind me then to both sides but I couldn't figure out what he was looking at. Then I remembered what had been going on for the last half hour.

Flashback

"Try this!" I ducked as Emili threw another shirt at me from deeps within the bowels if my closet. Places that I never venture to. What? It's not dirty just a lot of pink. Gosh how I HATE pink. I felt something land on my head and I made the mistake of looking up.
