{Later}

"You're seriously-" "-gonna let me be friends with.. the Pines Twins??" I gasped with astonishment clearly written on my face. My mother and father nodded and I grinned widely before yelling out thank you in their faces.

I skipped over the hallways and threw my jacket on before running out into the wilderness.

{Present}

I had received a call from my father informing me that I would be coming back home tonight.

Meaning I have to deal with the terrifying attractions in Gravity Falls. I sighed before walking over to my closet pulling out all my clothing in there. Which included tops, dresses, bottoms, and jackets.

It's not like I don't wanna go back home, it's just the terrifying things that happen there are what terrify me. Not to mention, a few bad... memories.

Shut up. Don't think about that.

////

And here we are. Back in Gravity Falls. I could already feel those chills I had when I was here. And that one feeling that you're being watched.

But I can see why I would feel that way. I'm a Northwest anyways.

With a backstabbing family like mine, of course you're gonna feel like this. You're the middle of attention.

I'm still confused about why I'm here again.

Oh right... a party.

////

"Asia. You are to appear with a seafoam green dress on at the party. That is the theme color. And do me a favor and don't wear anything that could ruin our reputation."

I grit my teeth at the evil lady standing in front of me who is also my mother.

What's the big deal if our reputation is ruined then?! Why do we have to act so perfect when we should do what we want instead of what society expects.

"We'll be having some guests as well. We've been having problems with that paranormal kind of iffy stuff you really like. So we had to hire a young man to fix the problem for us by catching the ghost."

I stared at her before inturrupting our sudden silence.

"Where is this place exactly? I mean, where have these paranormal 'iffy' things have been happening anyways??"

And so, she had spilled the lima beans. "Just get ready. You have at least 4 or so hours left."

I nodded and she left off with the word "good".

A smirk appeared brightly on my face before going through my bottom drawer.

"Here it is.." "..the ghost detector."

I know the name sounds lame, but don't give up just yet, I have this weird thing that allows me to see ghost with my own eyes.

As to what this device does is calculate where the ghost could be haunting.

I started hearing footsteps towards my bedroom and I quickly shoved the device under my pillow before Pacifica came through the door.

"What- nevermind. Mother told me to inform you about these visitors we are-"

"I know Pacifica. Stay away from them. Yep. Gotcha. Now can you please leave. I really need to start investigating- I mean getting ready." She stalked out of my room, and I quickly took out the ghost detector grinning in excitement.
