"You all are here for one reason, and one reason only." The host said loud and clearly. "That reason is to win." I looked around the room nervously at my competition;Nine other people.. Our broken lives is what got us here in the first place, you could only imagine how eight million dollars could mend it. My only purpose here was to fight for my sick brother,Jonah and get the hell out of here. Jonah's cancer had worsened since I left, but something has to give. I realized the room we were in had cleared and the host cleared his throat. "Care to join the group, Ivy?" I looked up and glared at him. "I'm..I'm sorry." I said with a stutter. He presented his hand and guided me towards where everyone else was. As I entered the room, all eyes glared in my direction;I looked away. The host spoke once more, his words adding a cold chill to the room. "There are now nine of you, only one person will be left alive when it is all over. You may kill whomever, whenever, however after the first week of this trial had ended. You must live in the putrid condition of the house we have presented to you for as long as it takes until we finally have a winner." A devilish grin spread across his face as he added his last words. "This will be your first and only challenge of the trial though...After considering it,picking off who to kill is quite the trial." He laughed at his own joke then returned his face to stone. "There are ten of you here. But there are only eight rooms. Seven are regular rooms holding one person, while one has two beds, holding two of course! This has the meaning someone won't have a bed.The person witout a bed will be killed and eliminated on the spot. You all have stickers that were given to you at the door, please put the stickers on a bed to show ownership of the room. Removing someone else's sticker to replace with yours will result in your killing and elimination." He clapped his hands together. "Let sweet chaos begin!"I was the first to move quick and fast on my feet someone with strong hands grabbed at my ankle putting me behind four people. I shook their hand away and ran towards a room at the end of the hallway.Everyone would fight for the first room they see,I had to play smart.I took off to the last room in the back of the hallway. Running inside the room,I smacked my sticker on my bed and plopped down. I looked across the room and realized I wouldn't be alone, there was a smaller bed across from mine. I heard a scream inside the hallway,I ran up to look out. three people were fighting over one room until the brunette took her sticker, and punched it on her bed. I saw the other two's faces go white as ghosts. The girl took off towards me before the guy had a chance to recover. He got up and ran, catching up to her, pushing her down, running pass me and placing his sticker on the bed. The girl screamed and cried until the host approached her slowly."I'm sorry,Heidi. Your game here has ended." He then posted his gun towards her head, and a shot fired off.. Two husky men came and carried her lifeless body away. Fear shivered down my spine. "Heidi..Her name was Hedi.." I thought silently..The host straightened his body up and loosened his tie slightly. "Let sweet chaos reign upon you all."
