Chapter: 43
Arno's POV:
Night had fallen over the bureau as I was with Madeline that night as she threw a book across the room. She also scattered some papers that fell onto the floor as she shouted "Who could the traitor be?"
I was sitting on the edge of the bed with a frown upon my lips as she began to pace in frustration. I don't really know who it could be or to help with any information that could calm her down. There really isn't anything to calm her down except for me being there with her and even though she doesn't want my comfort. It would soothe her a little- even if she tries to push me away. I got up from where I was sitting and grab her upper arms to stop her from pacing back and forth. She look up at me with those green eyes that were angry.
"Madeline, we will find the traitor, but stressing ourselves out is not going to solve this any faster, my love" I murmured to her as I pressed my lips to her cheek.
She let out a sigh as I could see her cheeks turning to a faint pink color. I could see her anger slowly starting to melt away. She looked up at me again as I gently brush my fingers against her cheek. She started to lend through my hand as I move my hand to gently cup her cheek. I move my thumb across her bottom lip as she look up at me and I could see that her eyes had darken. It look like a dark cloud had formed over her eyes as I could see that she wanted something that I have been wanting for a long time. My lips met hers instantly as I wrapped my arms around her waist.
She move her arms to wrapped around my neck as our lips parted to one another allowing entrance for our tongues to mold together into one. The intensity was spiraling between us as I move us slowly over to the bed. We topple downwards as our lips didn't separate from each other's. I began to undo the buckle that's in front of her trousers. My fingers fumble around the belt as I tugged to make it slip from its clasp. My lips were still moving with hers as we pull away to take a deep breath before our lips found each other's again. I had managed to get her buckle undone as I was slowly removing it from her trousers.
There was a knock on the door as I pull away from her and we were both breathless as her hands were on my cheeks. I shouted "What?"
The door started to slowly open as I remove myself away from Madeline as she let out a frustrated sigh. A smirk was spreading across my lips from her heated expression and I could tell she was furious with whoever had interrupted us. I look over to the door and it was William. He smile at us before saying "I believe I have found clues to who our traitor could be"

Madeline's POV:
We were looking at the students who attack me when I first arrive here and agreed to become one of them. These three could possibly be conspiring with the Templars, but it didn't really make sense in why. William tell us that it was a hunch that he had, but he did say that he could be wrong, but it was a start. Arno's lips were in a frown as his expression had anger in it, but he didn't say anything. My stomach had tightened into knots as I remember how harsh she was and I believe it only was because she was jealous. I could be wrong about that, but it seem right at the time. I look at the two guys looking over their papers that the brotherhood had kept track of what they did and who they were with.
"This doesn't make any sense at all" I muttered going through the pages, but not finding anything that was even a clue if they were the traitors or not.
"We will just have to a keep a close eye on them and see if they are or not. They nearly had killed you and I wouldn't put it past them to do it again" Arno looked at me with a narrow look.
