Looking back, it has been seven years now. Seven years since his eyes first glanced at her. Seven years since his heart was not his anymore.

Love at first sight, that is what people called it. But what people does not know is, it was not just love at first sight, she was his first love. At least his first real love and might just be his only love.

It was during campus induction week. Both were still at awe at the bizarre new world. 12 pm. During the breaks between activities. There she was, standing alone near the small mart in what people call Block D. Her back was against the glass wall of the store. There is a square garden in front her. Leaves falling from the dozens of seven feet tall trees. Seven years now, yet he still remember.

Shoulder length, her thick black hair looks really nice for her. White shirt, grey jeans and pink cardigans. Her small asian eyes behind her square glasess stared empty into the clouds. Shy. It was normal for others. But not for him. Mesmerizing. That was what she was for him. Seven years now, yet he still remember.

He was also alone, walking to the mart from her right. Striped polo shirt, blue jeans and blue sneakers, he strolled pass her. Next to each other, he opens the door to the store on her left, not knowing what he wants to buy in the store. The clear glass of the store allows him to glance at her from inside. Not knowing what he wants to buy, went to the back of the store. Bought two milk from the fridge. Dutch lady full cream. Seven years now, yet he still remember.

She still there.

He came out. Parallel. Next to each other. Standing. Now two sets of eyes up to the clouds. Both were too shy to look at each other. He took one of the milk and opened it. Took a sip, he walked pass her. Away.

She still there.

Seven years now, yet he still remember.
