As Worlds Collide: A LaurMau FanFiction

Chapter 2

~Laurance' POV~
Woah. There were other people. Finally, I can practice to improve my HORRIBLE Social Skills. I turn around and look at the huge house in front of me.

"Hey Vyald, where are we?"
"Come in. It's my place."
"Your place? How is that possible?"
"Your Father probably hasn't told you but us Shadow Knights have been going back and forth the Nether and The Overworld this whole time."
"What?! Ugh... I thought It could only get opened from the overworld?"
"That was before. Sasha was here, remember? Her last mission? That time she gained her immortality."
"Well that explains a lot. But why has anyone never told me?!"
"I don't know, Laurance. None of us really converse with each other much. The Shadow Lord wants to keep us focused. Remember?"
"Can we go in now?"

Vylad goes in the house and I follow him inside. It was well furnished and clean.

"When have you last been here?"
"About a month."

A month ago? I didn't even notice he was gone... Well If I want to know about this place I better go ask. A perfect excuse to find a lady in the neighborhood... Heh.

"I'm gonna go out and... meet people"

I yell to him as he gets up the staircases.

"Do what you want to do, Laurance. Just don't get in to a fight or something. And if ever you do, just run."

He replies. You see, this is why I became friends with Vylad in the first place. He doesn't talk that much and he doesn't really care what I do. Not in a bad way but like... He let's me do what I want to.

[Laurance goes over next door]

I knocked on the door. A kind-looking and blue-haired guy answered the door.

"Good Morning. Sorry to say this but I've never seen you around here before... Ah, are you new to the neighborhood?"
"Yes... Yes I am."
"Well It's nice to meet you! My name is Dante."

He stretches out his hand to me. What the hell do I do?! Shake It? I stretch out my hand and shake his hand.

"It's nice to meet you, Dante. My name is Laurance. Laurance Zvahl. I live right next door."
"Ah! So you're roommates with Vylad. That's cool."
"What's cool, Dante?"
"Well you get to be friends with him. If he'd go to a school, he'd be campus crush. He's really good at combat too, you know?"
"Both of us have been training."

Shoot. I shouldn't have said that out loud. Great. 15 minutes into the Overworld and I've  blown my cover already.

"Training? Wow! Do you two do Marshall Arts or something?"
"Uh... Yeah! We do!"

Dat Save!

"Say, You wanna come in? I'll introduce you to my roommates too."
"Cool."

I go inside his home and just... Look around I guess. Dante goes in some rooms and brings two guys along with him as he comes back. There was this tall kind of 'royal-looking' blond guy and another white-haired one with emerald green eyes.

"This is Garroth. Garroth Ro'Meave."
Dante says as he points to the blond guy.

"And I am Travis."
The white haired guy inserts.

"Well guys, This is Laurance. He's new on the block and lives right next door. He lives with Vylad."

"It's nice to meet you, Laurance."

Garroth says shaking my hand.

"Cool meeting you, man."

Travis casually says to me.

"Hey, Laurance! You play?"

Dante says passing me some... Thing with buttons on it.

"Uh... Sorry but I never really played before."

"What?! BOOOO... You should!"

Travis tells me.

"What?! You've never held a controller ever before?"

Garroth screams.

"Talk about rough childhood."

Dante says teaching me how to control this thing. It was fun. And luckily, the guys there seemed pretty cool with it, too.

Dante grabs his phone and takes a selfie of all four of us.

"It's been fun guys but I have to go. I'm gonna go meet the other people on the block."

I say waving at them.

"Bye!"
They all say.

[Some time later when Dante Uploads the selfie with Laurance in it]

~Dante's POV~
Caption, Hanging with the New guy on the Block. I thought to myself.

You know, Laurance is pretty cool. He's not really you know... Let me just say he's 'Roommate-Material' or something like that. I mean knowing his attitude, I could live with him. He'd be better to live with but I guess I'm just stuck with these guys now.

*Phone Dings*

-Texting with Kawaii~Chan-
K- There's a new person living next to your house?
D- Yeah... Crazy, right?
K- But Kawaii~Chan thought that Vylad~Kun lived in that house...
D- Oh Yeah, They're roommates. Why'd you ask?
K- Kawaii~Chan thinks he's cute!
D- ?! WHAT?! I thought you liked Reese!
K- What, Dante~Kun? Jealous?
D- ...
K- Oh, come on! Kawaii~Chan was only kidding! Sorry, Dante~Kun!
D- You have nothing to apologize for. Plus, I wasn't Jealous! Why would I be?! 😤
K- Okay, Okay! Calm down, Dante~Kun!
D- Okay... I'll see you around I guess... Bye!
K- Bye! 😊

-End of Conversation-

~Kawaii~Chan's POV~
Ugh! Kawaii~Chan feels like a horrible person! I shouldn't have teased Dante~Kun like that... 😩
"Kawaii~Chan! You better not be on the phone again or else it won't be the first time there would be a fire in our house!!!"
Wait, was that Katelyn~Sama?
*Gasp* AAAHHH! Oh no! My cookies!
