Woah! Soooo I know. I haven't posted anything on this book for a super duper long time!! A lot of stuff happened. I got new devices, and I had to delete this app. Anywho, I will be redoing all of these chapters. I am seriously so sorry. :( Please, keep reading though. I will make my best efforts to post from now on at LEAST once a week. I am going to count this one as this coming weeks though, because I have Mid-Term coming up really quickly that I have to study for. Ok. Now I need to shut up and let you read the story. Thank you so much for sticking with me. :)
Samantha Williams never thought that she would sign up for the military. She was a freshman in college and had never had a big reputation before. That is, until her 7th month in. She was called names and not just silly nicknames. She was called a whore, slut, fat-ass, etc. This was all just because of one simple mistake.
Samantha wasn't very popular at her college, so being invited to a party was a big deal for her. The thing is, is that everybody that lived in that hall was invited, and if you had a friend you would like to bring you could invite them. Everybody came. She wasn't really sure how to party, because, of course, she was never invited to one before. Every time Samantha would hear about a party that she wasn't invited to she would wonder, "Am I ugly? Fat? What is wrong with me?"
Nothing was ever wrong with her. She had beautiful long blonde hair that glittered when the suns rays landed on it, long legs that even a model would be jealous of, modern clothes that highly priced fashion designers made. She had her mothers eyes that glistened. Her fathers smile that made you smile right back. Her grandmothers dimples and personality. She was always so bright and cheerful seeing the good side in everything, thankful, giving and loving. She was perfect, yet nobody noticed her. Samantha was also very shy. She always kept to herself and never talked to anyone except her teachers.
Samantha had big dreams for her life. She wanted to become a surgeon, so she went to a very prestigious school, but ended up dropping out. It just wasn't right for her. She ended up going to her community school in Boston, Massachusetts for engineering. Samantha thought that this was far more suited for her than being a surgeon.
When Samantha was finally settled in her new college she once again went back to being that beautiful yet very shy young girl.
She was excelling at all of her classes. Samantha was right where she wanted to be. Snug like a little kitten in a bed, in her comfort zone. She didn't want to be noticed, so there she was. In the same place in life since she was in middle school. Just stuck.
In the hallways, between classes, she would maneuver in between all of the incredibly tall seniors.
Once back in her dorm she would phone her friend. He was a private in the U.S. Military. Samantha worried about him constantly. Even though they weren't that close, he was the closest person she had in her life.
Her parents were abusive. As a little girl Samantha would run into a closet in the living room. She was trying to hide from the arguments. They would scream at each other about how they can't deal with each other and having Samantha anymore. When they weren't fighting they would go after her and try and push her around; making her their personal slave.
Samantha ever since then was scared to let anyone get close to her. She had been scared for life.
As she was on the phone with her friend someone knocked on her door. When she got up to answer it she wasn't expecting a tall, dark, and very good looking boy standing in her doorway.
"Who are you?"
"I'm Brandon Gray. Anyways, I'm here to tell you that student council and the dean are having authorities go through everyone's room in search for weapons, because of the student shooting that happened two weeks ago."
"Um, Ok. Is that all?"
"Uh, ya, I guess. But, hey? How come I havent seen you around?"
"Because people don't really notice me."
"Well, I'm glad I did. See you around....?"
"Samantha."
"Samantha, right. Ok see ya."
"Bye."That was my first ever chapter! I hope you enjoyed! Comment if you have any suggestions.
