I waddled through the front door quicker than a eight and a half month pregnant girl has ever waddled. "CALLY!" I screeched my voice echoing around the house, Cally came rushing in from the kitchen a scared look on her face, "What? Are you hurt?Have your waters broke?!" I laughed "No...but aren't yours due to any moment now?" I guessed, "um yeah they were actually due yesterday but the past few weeks it hasn't been kicking." She said frowning and rubbing her belly. I paled and rushed to Cally, putting my hand on her belly and concentrating, I couldn't feel anything either, whereas on mine you could feel faint heartbeats and small kicks once in a while. "Cally-cat, we need to get you to the hospital now" I said urgently and whisked her out the door, Josh in tow.
We arrived at the doctors for the second time that day, but this time I confidently strutted to the front desk, well as much a heavily pregnant woman could manage, "Urm, hi my friend here needs an emergency appointment for like, now." The receptionist stood up quickly "Come on this way the nurse can see you straight away honey", a pale Cally followed me and the receptionist into the office "Why its' you again!" the nurse exclaimed, "What's wrong dear?" She asked concern laced in her voice, " It's not me" I explained, "it's Cally, her baby was due yesterday but she hasn't been feeling it kicking or anything for over two weeks." The nurse frowned, her face hardening and took Cally over to the table where she lay and did some tests. "What? What's wrong with her?" Cally whispered, frightened.
"Ms Tully, did you realise you were also having twins?" The nurse asked.
Cally's face lit up with delight. "I am??? Oh my god I am so excited!" she yelled, "Wait wait! Ms Tully I'm afraid I also have some bad news. One of them, the girl I think will be a stillborn."
