Green Dathanna

Chapter I

HEYA
I live in a green part of town. Not green because of parks, gardens or trees. Green because of our ability, but about that later. Around us there's not a lot of trees. There are but they're old and they all look like they're going to collapse as soon as wind hits them. My neighborhood is loud if you find a moment of peace you've just witnessed a miracle. There are helicopters flying above and trains runing below.

I'm reading a book called Diary by Anne Frank I still can't believe that after all this time it's so popular. Not to mention she died 300 back. Yes, it's true it's the year of 2245... Ah... It feels like 2240 was just yesterday, oh, how time flies by.

Right now I'm at home and I'm trying to learn how to use my ability from a student's book. My ability is walking trough doors, walls, floors... No I can't just fly trough them or anything. NO. For a walk trough you need a lot of training because there's the danger of staying inside a wall and probably die. So I need a lot of focus.

In the green part of town or green Zhen live about 5000 people and around a hundred of them have the same ability as I have including my best friend Cassie and my mom. I don't know other 'walkers'.

We live in quarantines lined with giant wooden walls. We can't walk trough wood. Nobody knows why but it's a fact. Each Zhen has something his own abilities don't allow him to do it's a reminder that even we compared to normal people have a  weakness. 

263 years ago scientists were discovering nano molecules. They weren't very successful. The experiment went out of hand and the radioactive smoke spread across the Kindom Dathanna, some people excepted the chemicals and trough time developed abilities, some people were imune and nothing happened but most of people died.
Those of us who do have abilities people got afraid of us and that's why we live in quarantines.

Because they are afraid of us.

Because they know we are the future and that there's nothing they can do about it.
