Chapter thirteen//Ashton/pt.2

I would watch Mark and Max together, hug and kiss. It makes me sick, that's supposed to be me with her, not Mark. I should call in a favor, I haven't done this in a long time. I watch Mark go out behind the house and then Max help painting a room. I take out my phone and call Kate. Yes, I know she's Max's best friend, it just makes it better. "Kate?" I ask.

  "Hi, Ashton, what can I do you you?" Kate asked.

  "We need to do it again, somethings happening." I say.

  "Ash, no. I told you millions of times I'm not doing that again. I nearly got sent to jail the last time, and I was pregnant then." Kate said as she was talking to her daughter.

  "Please? I'll give you money, fifty grand!" I say.

  "H-how much?" Kate stammers.

  "Fifty grand if you do it, I know you bed the money Kate. We both know that your little pretty boy husband will leave you." I say getting agitated.

  "What? Cristian wouldn't leave me!" Kate yells.

  "Okay, if you say so." I say and lean back against the fence.

  "Fifty grand," Kate repeated over and over. "Who is it?" Kate finally asks.

  "Max." I say.

  "Hell no, Ashton. There is no way in hell I'm doing that shit!" Kate says.

"But think about the money, I'll double it, no, triple it!" I say.

  "One hindered fifty thousand dollars?" Kate says.

  "I'll give it all to you if you do this one thing for me. It would be like old times, you remember right?" I said.

  "Unfortunately." Kate said.

  "Okay, meet me at my place tonight, I'll explain everything, bye Kate, see you tonight." I said.

  "Bye." Kate said and hung up. I can't believe she hesitated doing it! She's done it many many times before. I want her to do this because she's Max's best friend so it would hurt her more. This is great, in excited for this, I can't wait for the adrenaline I haven't had that feeling in a long time.

  I have the money too, from this 'job' I have. I'm the most 'valued' worker in this whole team, said Sal and I get an extra pay. Mark gets regular pay like everyone else. I don't even do anything half the time except look like I'm doing something, an that is a fun thing to do because I still get an extra pay.

   I can wait for shit to go down, it's fun to watch.

  (I'm so sorry I haven't updated my wifi is shit and wattpad has been an asshole, it deleted the two chapters I was going to post and I was actually proud of them for once, I'm sorry!)
