Before you go on to read my poem I would like to warn you that it is copy righted so therefore, you can't under any cirumstances use it and call it you own. Please comment about what you think of the poem,  but most of all enjoy! :)

1933 Franklin Roosevelt was elected,

Spreading his 'New Deal' everyone was affected,

Happy days are here again was his slogan,

This only applied to the chosen (white people).

No more lassez faire government are going to intefere,

With the New Deals policies like the alphabet agencies,

People becoming more confidence government becoming more competant.

Thanks to roosevelt everyone was paid the same wages,

Black people are being fired segregation never changes,

Farmers are confused with the produce that is wasted,

Starving Americans upset with the food they never tasted.

Freedom of liberty is in danger,

Because of Roosevelt trying to be the Americans savior,

Controlling people by telling them what to do,

By using Fireside Charts and theatre too.

He may have cut goverment pay by 15 percent,

and gave a reply to every letter being sent,

Individuals like Huey Long were unswayed,

And wanted to spread the wealth between comrades.

Business men like Henry Ford and the supreme court founf the 'New Deal' unconstitutional,

And that Roosevelt was a fool,

Not playing by the rules.
