2. Video Games

                 

I haven't been able to look at Michael the same ever since Harry came over yesterday. It really bugged me that I didn't know what my boyfriend has been doing late at night, I feel like he's cheating on me. Right now we are at Calum's because he wanted to have a lazy day with us, nobody argued with it since it sounded like a good idea.

"Ashton you just killed me" Luke complained slamming his fist onto the carpeted ground

"It's a free country" Ashton defended giving Luke a grin as his character killed Calum as well.

"Hey I was winning" Calum whined giving Ashton a glare

"Not anymore" Ashton smiled widely as he continued to kill other players. I sat on the couch curled up into a ball while Michael was on the opposite end of the couch. He would stare at me and I could see out of the corner of my eye but I ignored him

He got up and stood in front of me, kneeling down so he was at my eye level. He started to rub my knee looking into my brown eyes; I turned my head so I wasn't looking at him. "Babe, please talk to me" He begged in a whisper still rubbing my knee. I remained silent not speaking; even when he pouted I ignored it, which was extremely difficult.

He sighed and went back to his spot on the end of the couch while the boys still played their video game. I felt bad for ignoring Michael but he's been lying to me god knows how many lies He's told me throughout our 6 months of being together.

"God damn it" Luke raged slamming the controller onto the ground while Calum sat back and pouted with his arms crossed.

"I win" Ashton cheered doing a little dance, although he was only wailing his arms and moving his feet.

"I demand a rematch" Calum demanded pointing his finger in Ashton's face

"You're on" Ashton grinned at Calum. Luke picked up his controller and handed it to Michael. "you play a round, I'm going to get a snack" Luke said. Michael took the control and sat down on the ground as he played against Ashton and Calum.

I got up and went to get a glass of water. As I walked into the kitchen I saw Luke standing in front of the pantry with the doors open trying to decide what he wanted.  I walked by him and grabbed a glass and filled it with water.

"Hey Ri, you okay you seem a little off" Luke questioned putting a hand on my shoulder. I shrugged it off and started to walk back to the longue room but Luke yanked me back making some water spill from my glass "Riley" Luke said staring at me.

I gave him a look and yanked my arm out of his grip, I walked back into the room and sat down on the couch, I took my phone out.

"Michael you said we'd team up and get Ashton together" Calum shouted angrily at Michael who smirked

"Yeah, I lied" He laughed continuing to play the game. No sooner did Luke come into the room and sit down next to me smiling. I rolled my eyes and continued to scroll through my instagram feed.

"Dick" Calum muttered now trying to kill Michael. Ashton did something which both made Calum and Michael angry.

"How the fuck did you do that?" Michael yelled

"Why would you do that?" Calum said angrily scrunching up his nose. They started to argue and push each other.

"Guys chill" Luke said trying to break it up "why don't we watch a movie?" Luke suggested. The boys stopped arguing and exchanged looks.

"What movie?" Ashton asked raising his eyebrow

"I don't know, Riley" Michael said looking at me. I looked up at him and he smiled, "what would you like to watch?" he asked. I wanted to reply but I kept my mouth shut still staring at him and the guys.

"She won't talk" Luke said scratching the back of his head.

"Riley I need to speak with you, please" Michael said, I shook my head and looked at him "why? What did I do Ri" he asked walking closer to me

"Michael" Calum said softly grabbing Michael's attention "leave her alone for a bit mate," Calum said to him. Michael mumbled under his breath and walked out of the room furious with Luke following behind me.

"alright, why aren't you talking?" Calum asked already knowing something was wrong. Calum has been my best friend since year 6, he's the one who introduced me to the guys once we were in high school.

Calum knew me the most out of all the boys. "Come on Ri, I know you can't ignore me" He said as he bopped my nose. I ran my fingers through my hair.

" I feel like Michael's hiding things from me" I finally spoke. Calum and Ashton looked at each other then back at me, it worried me why did they look at each other like that? I knew Calum well enough to know that something was wrong.

"Riley-"

"Michael's not hiding anything from you what makes you think that?" Ashton asked cutting off Calum. I looked at Calum then to Ashton who was bitting his lip.

"Well this guy Harry came over and they were talking about what he did last night and-"

"Harry?" Ashton questioned, I nodded "did he have curly brown hair?" he asked and again I nodded.

"Shit" I heard Calum mutter under his breath as he scratched the back of his head. So they knew who Harry was.

"Guys what's going on?" I panicked now standing up on my feet. Calum walked closer to me "you're lying to me aren't you?" I snapped at them, Calum had an apologetic look on his face, running his fingers through his hair.

"Riley" Calum spoke; I shook my head and headed for the door. I walked down the hallway I ignored Calum and Ashton begging me to stay and let them explain.

As I was about to leave Michael and Luke came down the stairs and stopped in their tracks when they saw me.

"Riley where are you going?" Michael asked me as he ran down the stairs to grab my hand

"Far away from you guys" I said yanking my hand away from Michael's.

"Riley stop" Michael said pulling me into the house, I started to cry, as he was pulling really hard. "What did I do, Please tell me?" he begged I shook my head and tried getting away from him, he was scaring me and I don't like it.

"Michael let go," I cried taking my arm away from him. He backed away and looked at the boys with a hurt expression.

I walked out of Calum's house and started to walk home, the place I dreaded going but I had no where else to go I usually would go to Calum's or Michael's but right now I can't.

As I walked home I remembered I would be in deep shit because I haven't been home in a week not that my parents cared. They're neve home anyways

It took me about half an hour to walk home and I when I got there I was bracing myself for what I may see I turned the door handle and walked inside. Empty. I didn't see anyone or hear anything, which isn't normal. I shut the door behind me and walked around the house checking to see if anyone was home. Again no one was in sight

That was until the front door opened to show my mum, step dad and my sister Ella standing before me. I didn't say anything I only stood there frozen. I didn't know what to expect but I had an idea as to what it would be.
