Hinata Hyuga sat on the edge of the bed as Yamato scuffled through the the room. She was still a bit shaken from her dream but was now more nervous over what Naruto wanted to talk to her about. He wouldn't tell her to back off would he? Her stomache flipped as she remembered how she embaressed herself this afternoon. She shouldn't of clung to him like that.

Thirty minutes have passed since she was dragged away from the teenager she love so deeply, Yamato has already given her a full body checkup. Her wound was throughly cleaned and wrapped. Her heart was monitored. Everything was all good except that her byakugan wouldn't activate and she couldn't use any of her chakra.

Kakashi sat by her side the whole time eyeing everything Yamato did, "Can you tell me what happened?

'I was being careless', she thought to herself. "Erm, It h-happened so fast. I-I can't remember anything but the p-pain." She lied.

"Everything is fine but it seems like your Chakra has been restricted. We'll have you return to the village soon, have Tsunade take a look at it", Yamato said from across the room.

Hinata gave a small nod, but she didn't want to leave. When the hokage summoned her and tasked her with the mission of keeping watch over Naruto she was ecstatic. She didn't want to leave him just yet.

"I figured that was that case, I have already sent a bird with the message back to the village. Once the new person comes one of us can send Hinata back." Kakashi said as he pulled a book from his pouch.

Hinata frowned, guess she'll have to leave no matter what.

Tsunade Senju stood by the towering window giving her veiw of her whole village. A unsettling feeling resided in her gut and she hated it. She just sent Jiraiya off the uncover theidentity of the leader of the Akatsuki. She prayed for his saftey yet she somehow knew he wouldn't be returning. She watched the sun set, admiring the tinted glows.

A loud squak interupted her quietness followed by loud footsteps.

"Godaime Hokage," A ninja shouted out as he yanked the door open, "A message from Kakashi of the sharingan."

She pivoted on her heel, "What?" She yelled out.

"Hinata Hyuga has been injured. They have requested the assistance of Neji Hyuga." The man read off the scroll.

"Shit," She muttered as she looked at her desk, stacked high with papers, "Neji is occupied and away from the village. Will the team be able to wait until he comes back from the mission?"

"It appears her chakra has been cut off, no one can say how long the effects will remain."

She growled in frustration, "Is there any other Sensory detectors available?"

"There are three, but are you able to spare them for a whole month? None of them are as capable as Hinata." An anbu stated coldly as he appeared in the corner of the room.

"Who are they?"

"Kiba Inuzaka, Shino Aburame, Akio Amori."

She wasn't familiar with the last one, "Give me Kiba and Shino, Have them leave as soon as possible. Explain everything to them."

Tsunade glanced out the window, why is everything so frustrating?

'Something is wrong. Very wrong.' Naruto perched himself on a tree, looking out on the world. He felt something was off since they came here, but he couldn't place his finger on it.

With a sigh he dropped graciously to the ground. He'd been able to listen in on Kakashi's, Yamato and Hinata's conversation and he did not like what he heard. Hinata's chakra was frozen? He didn't even know a Hyuuga's chakra could become rendered useless.

His mind drifted back to the chunin exames, where Neji so gracefully cut off Naruto's chakra supplies.

"I'm hungry", Naruto threw his hands behind his head as he walked into the room.

"Then go eat something", Kakashi glanced up from his book. What was it, the fifth time he has reread it?

"I don't feel like doing anything. I'd rather have something to snack on like berries. So I'll take it your not going to get anything for me?" Naruto spoke mater of factly. 'I know you guys are keeping me here for a specific reason. I'm not dumb I can tell when there is a barrier put around me. Should I put a note that says "HELLO MONSTER INSIDE OF ME" onto my forehead?

"No I will not." Kakashi silently got up to flee the room.

"Huh." Naruto looked around the room, a divious smirk taking over his face, "What about you Hinata-chan?"

The girl's face grew red, "W-What is it?" She yanked a hand up to her nose where blood threatened to leak. He called her Hinata Chan. A smile twitched at her lips.

"Wanna go berry hunting with me?"

Hinata glanced around the room, as if he wasn't really asking her. It'll be just like a date! She knew it was totally one sided in her mind, but a girl takes what she gets right? She rose to her feet, quickly following Naruto out the room.

After a moment of walking he gasped and stalked towards some bushes, she bit her lip as she glanced around. There was no way he knew about the barrier right? They were mere feet away from it now.

She gawked at him as he rushed around like a little kid, looking at various plants. He smiled as he shoved a red berry into his mouth, his eyes closing in bliss. She gently picked one, carefull of the thorns and popped it into her mouth.

Juices flooded her system, her tongue tiggled slighly as she chewed the sour berry, "Hinata," She was startled by his voice. She turned quickly to see what he needed but froze as he brought a finger to her lips, wiping the sticky syrip with his thumb. She gaped as he brought his thumb back to his own lips and licked it away.

Her blood boiled and Chills swept through her body. Naruto frowned. As he glanced around, he sensed something..What was it? He closed his eyes and subtly let in some nature energy, silently thanking his sage training.

He froze as he recognized the chakra, "Sasuke?"
